Alright, so normal counters are going to have this Basic Brush set and clutch, a silver knit thing.

Apparently Saks is going to have a different Saks Exclusive clutch along with Basic Brushes, and then MAC Stores are going to have a MAC Store Exclusive clutch along with Basic Brushes.

Anyone have any details on what they look like?

Thanks for the pics Sleepyhead. The swatch of the Softsparkle pencils looks amazing!! I am wondering as to what size they are, the curiasitease collection is one with mini's right? But in the pics I don't think the pencils look very mini??

If I understand this correct, the brushes will be the same, only in a different clutch?

i saw the update book today at one of the counters here in town because my friend showed it to me. and the collections look awesome from their descriptions. the names of the MES Duos are the following:

Silversmith
Earthly Richer
Engaging
Family Silver
Mi'Lady

i didnt get a chance to write down descriptions, just the names of the shadows and how much they are going to be which is 16.50.

Why can't MAC release different Exclusive sets, meaning with different contents, different brushes?
They are tons of different "basic" brushes that could be put in a set that anyone would be interested in.
We end up buying the same brushes all the time, especially for the ones who collect the "Exclusive" items!
I will suggest something when I go at the event but I doubt that it will go all the way to the ears of the MAC Production team...
I wish though that MAs could report what our likes and dislikes are.

I am so excited for this release now!

I stopped by my MAC store and all the girls know me there by name since I'm there all the time, but they were horrified to find I hadn't received my invitation yet to the release party on the 14 of October. So I RSVP'd for that and I'm so unbelievable excited! I already cut my matte2 haul and my anticipated Mcqueen haul down for this collection. Those palettes just look beautiful!

actually, the exclusives aren't in clutches. they are in a hinged cannister with an embossed python pattern and material, so when you open it you don't have a lid and base, you have one piece. that way you can set it on a vanity and stand brushes up in both parts. does that make sense?

the store exclusive is gold, and the saks exclusive is silver. they are the same brushes as in the basic set.

Thanks erine1881! Just wondering - are the basic brush handles still going to be silver in these exclusive sets? Or does the gold canister have gold handled brushes and the silver canister have silver? Thanks!

Short reviews of brush sets

1.Antiquitease Face Brush Sets

• 168SE - Gooood! 168SE is much softer than last year.
• 187SE - Nice and flexible, 187 is softer than 187SE.
• 190SE - Same as last year. I need it, because I bought too many liquid foundations, maybe 5 or 6...
  
• 194SE - I apply concealer by my ring finger,no impression on 194SE. It looks same as last year.

2.Antiquitease Eye Brush Sets

• 209SE - Tender as full one.
• 212SE - Oh my gosh! My skin pricked, it is a REAL nightmare for me.
• 217SE & 252SE - Not bad,.
• 275SE - A stiff blush like a paintbrush...
