Same here.

How should I handle it until next March? I am working hard on my financial plan.
And should I say anything? It won't stop after Hello Kitty

Don't get me wrong, the High-Light Powders are very pretty... it's just really frustrating about the overspray. It's like false advertising. =/ My trainers told me to think of it as like... "packaging" on the product itself, like the raised letters and images sometimes on the actual product.

The problem with that concept is that it's deceitful. The raised decorations from (most) previous collections however differ because those were just the physical mold of the product. It still applied the same on the face the same as it would if it was just a regular no-overspray product. These though, because of the decorations, applies differently the first time than it does for the rest of it's uses. 99% of the product is more matte, where the first 1% is super shimmery. It just sorta sucks. Plus the name "High-Light Powder" gives you an image of a forever reflective face. It should be called "Matte Blush with Festive Sparkle For First Use".

Amen!

And this..."Matte Blush with Festive Sparkle For First Use" made me laugh my ass off!!! Perhaps we should get a little more technical though and call it "Matte Blush/Bronzer/Face Powder with Festive Sparkle for the First 2.2356 Uses". Wow, that name actually clears up all of the confusion about this product!

So I guess that would be in the Multi-purpose category until the shimmer overspray wears off, then it is in the Face category.

I guess the way I have to think about the powders is that I'm buying a matte powder and not shimmer. That way I feel better about the lousy overspray.

That's what I will do when they do not work for me.

I might have to buy another MAC powder to fit it in.
Can you depot studio fix powder?

It's already kinda depotted lol don't forget that studio fix is not like the other powders. It's on the hinge soy ou can lift it up for the puff or sponge or whatever. You could put in a blot powder though

Technically yes. But you would have to take the highlight powder (or blot or whatever) and pry it out of the compact. It'll be glued to a piece of plastic, and you'll have to depot it from that as in take the metal pan off of the plastic. Then take the studio fix powder and depot it from the plastic hinge. Then replace the two pans. I don't know how to depot other than using a candle and that distorts the plastic so I don't know how you would do it. =/

I do kinda hope that the pinkier coral is Possum Nose Pink too since 1. that name is tooo cute, and 2. that colour looks really pretty!!

hmm, i guess i need to set priorities right when choosing which l/g to get, ie. i should base my purchases on the actual colour rather than the name of product, instead!!
