Whoa, yours is very nice! I want to hear what you think of FDC on.

I think the prettiest thing in the whole collection is Petal Power MB. Granted I'm not all that familiar with most other brands but I've never seen anything quite like it. It is a dark rosy coraly color with golden sheen, is the best way I can describe it. It looks stunning in the pan and was very smooth. Sadly as I knew it would be, it was far too warm for me. Anyone who can pull it off-- I would definitely say swatch if you can! I wish I could wear it.
AitA definitely did not read as a cool toned pink on me! Elegant-one thank you so much for the warning. I would have thought the lighting was bad otherwise. It read a fairly cool pink peach on me. To get it to read pure pink, I had to sheer it out. Very odd but the silvery quality to it drew me in so I was willing to buy it and take a little extra effort when applying.
SR and PT were really really nothing like they were before. I had swatched the 2012 SR at the time and this was nothing like it. The MUA was talking about it with me and she was peeved at the changes big time. I swatched both and there is something wrong when Stereo Rose of all things looks better on me than what is allegedly a pink product!
There are no words for how bad PT looked just on my hand. Just a shiny beige mess. SR read on me kind of a peachy brown actually (old SR was a burnt orange, red-brown fiasco on me). Both were way too warm for me but SR looked far better. How bizarre.
The fluidlines surprised me. I was right that neither would work for me, but not entirely for the reasons I had thought. Sassy Moss was indeed that kind of medium green that doesn't work for me, but the gold was very, very noticeable on me and not in a good way. Phlox Garden actually did not read as warm on me as I thought it would based on pictures. Instead I had another problem-- instant itching and burning of my skin.
That was a really unhappy surprise. Never had that happen with any kind of eyeliner before. I'm guessing there is some kind of red dye in it that I am allergic to (certain red and pink dyes cause me skin problems).
The lipsticks got me in trouble on my low buy over achievement goal. I finally wore Dish it Up so I wouldn't be tempted by Heavenly Hybrid. That worked. I wore Raspberry Swirl the other day and remembered that when I was looking at Rose Lily. Snapdragon totally surprised me though. I had a couple of lipsticks that I thought were similar to it that really did not work on me, so I had planned to skip. It swatched entirely differently on my hand than those did, so I decided to give it a chance. I am going to wear mine tomorrow or Saturday and hope it actually does work. The purchase I think I will totally regret is Dreaming Dahlia. It swatched such a lovely faint orange red color on me that I got suckered in and got that too. I need to try ASAP because if it does look bad, it is going back. I do not return makeup just because I don't like it, but the lighting in that store is so funky I can never be sure with some of these orange-type shades whether they will make my teeth look yellow or not. All but a couple I have do just that, and one of those is actually the Revlon Tutti Frutti lip butter which this looked somewhat close to. We'll see. I didn't even look at the nudes, as nude lipsticks in general make me look terrible.
I did indeed skip Playful Petal CSG. Too sheer, though lovely. Already own Star Quality and Galaxy Rose. One of them (can't remember which) did not look exactly the same as the older one I own. So not sure if there is a color difference there too or not. Did not even look at the more neutral colors, and ignored the MES, pigments, and nailpolishes altogether.
I think this collection certainly has some nice things for those who are able to wear them and/or don't already have similar colors. But I don't think anything is earthshattering if you miss out or skip either, other than Petal Power MB.
