I'm trying to decide if I want the cool palette. Already getting the warm and smokey...I think 3 of 4 palettes is a little too much, but they are all so pretty! And then those lip palettes are suddenly getting to me even though I haven't been interested in the past...I need help! Professional help! lol.

I'm still very much on the fence about the brushes... I'm hoping that by some miracle they either disappear from the website or sell out... this way here, I won't be able to buy them. I spend most of my day on the internet at work, and I'm finding that (thanks in part to Specktra!) the more time I have on my hands here, the more I buy MAC online...

fauryn [a mua at mac] just posted a video saying that the brush sets are indeed $35 at nordstrom only. i'm gonna head over there today so we'll see.

They're $35 at Nordstrom.com too!

Ugh. I'm ordering them...

EDIT: They only have the Basic brushes and the Face brushes. No Eye ones online

I may have to run to Nordies during lunch...

I wasn't impressed by the brush sets but I might go ahead and get that one Face brush set for 35 bucks hell yeah

I really like the package but the color in those palette don't impress me at all... The cool eye last year looks so much prettier than this year but the package this year is so pretty... I need to resist not to buy one just for the red case.

^^^I actually asked MAC CS about the new delay in shipping. She said it could be that UPS has changed something

My shipments have been arriving much later than ever

and I'm in MACs 2 day ship area

I was able to check out this collection in person today. Despite having more eyeshadow that I will use in 10 lifetimes, I got the cool and smokey palettes. I have very few cool eyeshadows and the ones in this palette are very pretty and not 'too cool' for someone used to wearing warmer colors. The smokey palette is similar to the one from last year but somehow the colors in this one are nicer ( at least IMO) it does have satin taupe...again. I did like the neutral lipstick bag but order this on line and should have it today.

I wasn't at all interested in the classic palette so I didn't even swatch it. As far as the warm eyes....I was completely underwhelmed. The colors looked kind of 'blah' at least compared to the other palettes. I've gotten the warm palette the last few years and it seems that they always have the same/similar colors so I would say if you have a warm palette, you won't need this one.
