okay cracking up at Susanne over here! They're horrible? Maybe I'll just get one then.

I agree on skipping the brushes and going for an extra palette instead, something that you'll get use out of.

Received my Warm and Classic eye palettes today! While the Warm colors are super gorgeous, I'm drooling over the pretty blue and green in the Classic palette...In fact the whole palette is beautiful

Wow about the reviews of the brushes. I noticed that you ladies are only talking about the 187 and the 129 specifically. What about the eye brushes that came with the 129 or if anyone has the eye set. Can someone please review the eye brushes (perferable the 239, 219, and the 217) please?

I wanted to get Basic and Face brush set. I will skip the Basic set now for sure and get the warm eye palette instead.

I never do this but I returned the Warm eyes palette =( I'm so jealous of everyone that had Grand Entrance show up green on their skin. It was soooo black on me, I could hardly see any green at all.

Wow, did you all think your brushes were scratchy? I got the face set and didn't think the 187 or the 168 was scratchy at all... maybe because this is my first 187? haha how do you tell if it's scratchy?

My 187 wasn't scratchy, but the brush head was noticeably smaller in diameter & if you pulled bunches of the black part of the bristles to the side - they didn't have any white tip on them

- which is why it may look smaller in size.

oh okay I see, mines is like that too... so all of the fibers are supposed to have white part on the hairs? Maybe it was a better idea to get the 188 instead?

The white top hairs are what makes it soft full, & fluffy, but they were missing. For $35, I guess its just ok because you get the other brushes in the set. Which, one was soft & ok, but the other 2 were stiff & scratchy also unlike the past sets.

no, there's two different hairs. short black hairs, and longer white hairs. this is why it looks like the black hairs have white tips. but in reality, there are two different color/length of hairs.

ALL the brushes in the eye kit were sratchy and awful.. especially the 217 & the big flat one (forget the #).. but i couldn't even use them on my eyelid, i was like OUCH! Returning them for sure!

I dreamed I was at the counter and saw the brushes in real. Gosh, these were the teribble brushes I had ever seen!!

You made me totally crazy with the quality of these SE brushes!

I was most exited about getting the 217 in this set but well, more love for the palettes.

Apologies if this has already been asked but can anyone tell me if the lipsticks in the neutral and rose set come in individual boxes like the regular lipsticks or just in the bag in a big box??

Instead of buying a brush set, why not just buy a full size 217?
