I didn't even swatch the new pigments colours. I don't really like brown and no matter how gorgeous the other shade is, I think full jars of both Your Ladyship and Vanilla plus a pan of Solar White will be enough for me

Did the essential oil help the foundation go on better?

I know for me the essential oil stuff is awesome! I mix it in the studio sculpt foundation and concealer and it makes it look so smooth and natural! I have comb. oily skin and it's soo nice, I might get a backup of it actually...lol

*I also gave in and got Universal Mix pigment, I'm still mad about this whole pigment thing but I didn't get a chance to get Vanilla pigment in full size so I will have to deal with the unevenness in jars and pigment size!

I just got back from my counter again. I exchanged Universal Mix Pigment and got the other 2 Love Lace shadows that I wanted instead. I tried UM this morning, and while pretty, it doesn't look much different on than alot of other white pigments/shadows that I have already. I just couldn't justify it, especially when I opened my jar, and it was noticely less than full.

Elegant, I checked out the pink gloss for you. It is pretty, but it reminds me of something... I can't figure out what. I think you will like it. It's a safe shade of pink.

Swatched All Races e/s, and while the color is pretty, I still wasn't sold. I want to think about it some more. I am not a matte shadow girl, so I passed for now. I am going to my freestanding next Friday to pick of some of the new bright shadows, and if I am still thinking about it then, I may pick it up.

I am wearing Personal Style today with a teal eye and nude lips, and I really like it

Does anyone know if Personal Style blush compares at all to the discontinued Strada blush? Strada was a favorite of mine and I would love to find something similar! TIA!

How is the texture on Banshee?

I believe the Lipglass stains were released a couple of different times. My Briefly Pink is from 2002, but I remember a big collection of them in 2003.

It's funny b/c I never pictured The Perfect Cheek blush as having much brown in it until you guys mentioned it, and I compared it to Personal Style, and it is actually fairly similar! Weird!

I really love personal style! If it doesn't sell out in the next week or so I will be buying a BU. I wore it with my everyday "no makeup" look. Its gorgeous. Personal Style and my love Gold Spill MSF go well together, IMO on my NC25 skin. I am going to wear it with my smokey teal eye look tomorrow night. I will have to TRY and remember to post it!

I do think I am the only one that has MAD love for Gold Spill MSF! Not glittery on gritty for me & I have gone through almost 2! I only have 1 BU left, gotta find more!

I'm really glad to hear that about PS. I'd love to see it on you with that smokey eye

My delivery with PS in it got delayed for some reason - so not until next week. If you guys like it, I know I will.

Allison your love for Gold spill makes me want to try it again. It never seems to agree with my skin tone.

Does Personal Style compare at all to Emote? I think I might have to get personal style based on all of your raves. It sounds like a blush that I need since I don't have anything like it currently.

Geez I know, the bright colors of Spring Forecast make this collection look so drab! I definitely wouldn't choose this over that, but for one of those days that you just want a simple look, this collection works pretty well

And, my job requires that I stay toned-down, so I know I am going to use all my neutrals a lot. It's kinda bittersweet, b/c I love color.

I still haven't got anything from this collection. Both BPB are calling me!! I adore them! Also, is Universal Mix pigment worth it or not? I was planning on skipping it since I own Vanilla pigment and Solar White e/s.

I got Universal Mix pigment,it's gorgeous! That's the only thing I'm interested in from this collection.Everything else just looks the same as other stuff MAC has released.Kinda blah,I'm putting my money towards the upcoming collections.

Katie, I did a comparison of Emote & PS. Emote is more brown, way more suited for contouring the face. PS is a mauve neutral color. They are nothing alike.
I put the swatches on my inner arm & I am a NC25.

I bought it thinking it was similar to my old Peaceful blush (which shows up very well on me even though it is so faint.) Then I got home and realized it wasn't the same at all. The Perfect Cheek is a pinker version of Personal Style.

I'll post pictures tomorrow of all three for comparison. If I can stand to wait for these pages to load that is.

I. HATE. THE. NEW. PIGMENT. JARS!

Like seriously...hate them! They look cheap and miniscule compared to the old ones. My MA actually said she liked them and I gasped out loud LOL

I passed on the whole collection, the only thing that I liked in person was Banshee...and its a Lustre. Wow, this is the third collection that I've passed up this season...

I really like the new pigment jars. I like the little sifter thing at the top, too. Now I'm just waiting for a pigment that I like enough to buy.
