Thanks, I will try this with my concealer as soon as I can get the oil....

So, is the light shadow, All Races, special enough to get it? And how chalky is Showstopper?

And, my job requires that I stay toned-down, so I know I am going to use all my neutrals a lot. It's kinda bittersweet, b/c I love color.

The lighter bpb showed as a hint on colour on me and I'm much lighter than you (NW25/30). You should make sure that you try it in person. If you're ordering online I suggest u only get the dark bpb as I doubt the lighter one will show up on u

yes! the texture isn't one of my faves but it does add quite a nice shimmer. using it as a gloss is good too!

I posted some comparisons of The Perfect Cheek with Personal Style in the Swatch Thread if anyone is interested...

I think I'll have to buy the Personal Style blush. I already have blushes enough for a lifetime (and beyond), but nothing like this one.

I stupidly bought the Penultimate Brow Marker becasue I have thing for all brow pencils and this one is so easy to apply! Simple and a perfect flow... BUT... the colour!
thmbdn.gif

It is called Universal but I have no idea who can wear pinky brown brows. I could wear the Taupe, Dirty Blonde or Blonde pencils, although Dirty Blonde is a perfect match... but this Universal colour looks nothing like a natural eyebrow colour.

Hi everyone
yahoo.gif

Just love this collection and the Warm & Cozy collection. I tried the blushes and the lighter one did not show up on my skin but was beautiful, the other one was too red on me..but would look lovely on darker tones.

I usually use powder on my brows (expresso eyeshadow) but I am finding lately its looking to harsh on me. So when I was at the counter today I noticed they had some brow pencils. The Impeccable brow pencil which seemed nice but had a harder texture to it..but matt, then there was the self sharpening pencils, which seemed really nice and soft..the the other one, cant remember the name of it right now. Which is better, the impeccable pencil with the harder texture or the self sharpening pencils? which lasts longer on the brows? and also my brows are dark brown and my hair is golden brown with reddish tones...should I go with a lighter brow pencil even though my brow hair is dark brown..would the dark brow hair light contrast look funny?? I know black is out of the question as the expresso eyeshadow already looks to harsh lately since I colored my hair. any help or suggestions would be great

I had such high hopes for it, but I seriously doubt I will be keeping it, especially since you get so little for your money. I forgot to mention in my other post that my jar wasn't even full

Makes me sad.

So I just got back from Mac to return that lipgelee from Lillyland and of course I decided to buy more. I can't just walk in, do what I need to do and leave. I was wearing banshee and cross-cultural (AMAZING, by the way), so that swayed into buying showstopper. I got home, added it to my look and I am so happy I did. FIrst I thought SS was too dark, but when used correctly, it's gorgeous.

I also bought Spirit and Soul lipglass. It's subtle, shimmery and pretty. It's a bit lighter than some other brown toned glosses I have, so I thought it would come in handy. Got home, tried it on and safe to say, it's pretty.

So that's it. I am DONE with this collection. I wanted Naked Lunch pro shadow pan but they were sold out. I've never had that shadow. I know, I know. I will order it. I'm wondering if I should get the two brown shadows from warm and cozy. I'm really into this neutral thing now. Never thought I'd say that.

I think I might add Glamour For All l/g to my haul. Ahhh *confusion*

I swatched Cross-Cultural and it is darker than what it looks like in the pot - which is great for me

Rich Life is another deep brown and I am loving it in the swatches! Is there a dupe of this in e/s form?

I don't know if I want to dish out $23.50 CAD, new packaging or not =/

WOW, they do look really different on you. Maybe because of your yellow undertones? I have lots of pink in my skin, so maybe that's why they aren't much different on me. So strange how different things look different on different skin tones.

I hauled from this the other day and thought I would post my swatches - I'm a NW25. I ended up with All Races and Showstopper, skipping out on Banshee (seems gritty) and Cross-Cultural (meh), and Spirit & Soul and Liquer and 5N. I think I might stop by and check out the blushes later - I had my puppy dog with me and he was a little distracted by all the sights and smells!

ITA, the color is one of the things that deterred me from it- the taupe pencil is my exact shade, so if the pen came in this color that'd be great. But I had an Antastasia brow pen that looked exactly like this (except pink packaging) and it clogged after two uses. It got returned pretty quickly.

It is really gorgeous, especially irl! I tried it as a contour color over my Medium bare minerals foundation, and it is perfect. It blends so well too!

Aw, girls don't pass up Banshee. I didn't find it to be gritty or overly glittery at all. Try it on. There is a tiny bit of fallout, but I just take a pinch of my mufe makeup remover and wipe the top of my cheekbone and it's all good. It's so darn pretty and I think it would be really pretty on lighter/darker skin than mine (I'm so in the middle, blaaah). Give it a chance.

I wanted so much out of this collection before it came out and I only ended up with Banshee. I have Showstopper already. I am contemplating Glamour for All l/g but I haven't decided for sure on this one.

I didn't swatch it, so maybe it's a better Lustre than most? I'll go back and re-try it.

It is better, imo. It's weird b/c in the pan, it looks like an everyday lustre, but when applied, it has only a slight shimmer, but looks more like a satin. I did notice a little fallout but if I tap the excess off the brush first, then it's just fine. Plus it's really light so it's not like horrible fallout

But if you were a fan of Neutral Pink, you will like this color too.
