So is Strada really that great? I missed it before it's discontinuation. Why do you love it so? Please elaborate...

Embalmer.. I love it.

it makes me look sculpted and with a slight rosy/mauvey tone.. I also use my pink blushes on my cheekbones for a pop of more colour but Strada is a subtle contouring product.. and yes it is that good. When it could not be found easily, I obtained 4 pans for bus.. and I still have two potted ones brand new.

I would be an NC15-20 in MAC.

^ Agree with everything (and I'm about the same skin tone). It's a very soft contour, but it definitely does a wonderful job of shaping the face. Too many contouring products run warm for me, so it's nice to have one that's light enough to be subtle and neutral/ cool enough to be complementary.

So would it be already for someone who is NC25?

Hehe u and backups! I always take that as a positive because usually means the product is awesome and will work for me too because we the same coloring... I'm so looking forward to seeing swatches and more of this blush... All the raving reviews have me prepared to purchase but I just can't wait to see the product in it's special casing and start playing with it. Same with the BP.... I'm really interested in seeing swatches and how it shows up on my skin
I love the texture of the new Strada, though it is a tad more powdery than my old one. I don't mind powdery products, but it means I will go through it faster. BU-time. LOL.

Ah shux, it sounds like Pink cult which I lurve! Glad it is perm at Pro! Of course I could be tempted to get it just for the pretty packaging. I <3 geometrical designs

I didn't get Pink Cult, but I do think they're a bit similar. PC is, well, pinker, but it's similarly neutral if memory serves. Strada is just a bit cooler and more taupe-y. Seriously, I try not to flip about and tell people they need products, but Mac has gotten me twice in the last few months- Lightscapade and Strada are phenomenal for pale ladies. And, yes, they look friggin' awesome together. Ultimate ethereal beauty.

mmm pink cult is not good for contour.. and from promo pics, strada doesn't look pink... Pink cult on me is a muddy pink

I think I've made things more confusing. I just meant that they were sort of comparable as neutral shades. Strada is definitely more of a contour, as it's a taupe shade, but it has a little bit of mauve-pink to it. They're not the same at all, although I think that you could use them together very well.

Those who like to contour will certainly like Strada. If you hardly ever (or never) contour, you probably don't need Strada unless you want to get it as a collector's item and/or for the sake of the pretty packaging.

Personally, I love contouring as it an awesome way to alter your appearance dramatically without looking dramatic. I use at least 2 - 3 contouring shades at a time to create more depth, so Strada is right up my alley.

I use hoola, then casino (nars) to intensify, then my blush, then highlight.... I'm the ONLY person I know in my circle who is not a drag who contours....hahahah but seeing youtube and looking at FOTD I'd say Im very big on contouring. I do my nose, my chin, my lips, my temples, my forehead, my cheeks.... next thing imma do is use dermablend and let shat sh** cook! lol

I want strada but im gonna get it in a pan, because having the fancy package doesnt fit in my dividers and its too costly. I want that nude lippie tho :p

I've always loved how contouring looks but have no idea what to do. You put it on your cheekbones and the sides of your nose, etc. right?

yeah you can do the fish face and put it where you cheek bones are or just under them to make your face seem more thin! but i don't really contour so i need to watch some tutorials on it :)
