I could make a video... or somebody here for specktra. When I went to make up school the first time it was taught differently than when I went 5 years later! I think its a very fun part of the make up process

I am itching for swatches. I am so freaking excited to see them. Hopefully now that G&L is over we'll see them soon

Same here katred. I usually skip the couture collections due to the money, but this time...I really want both lipsticks and maybe the Strada blush. That Fervent lipstick has my name written all over it. I need to see swatches first before I decide to spend the money. Do you think it pays for me to buy Strada at $30? I'm so conflicted.

I hope so. I'm trying to resist, since everything is expensive, but these look so nice. Pigments and lipsticks and Strada... Oh my.

I just REALLY think 26 bucks for a NP is out of the question...and so is 26 for a lipstick. I'm soooo glad I found strada on mac online in pan form cos other wise I would have spent over 30 bucks on it. Im passing on this collection, and miss piggy. I'm gonna "waste" my money on perm goodies until Guiness and Iris and Naturally. I can't wait for those!!!!!! :O

I think it's worth checking around on line to see if you can find it for closer to regular retail. $30 is a hefty price to pay for a blush and if you can get the same product cheaper, you might as well save.

Elude b/p and both piggies from this collection. I also like both Metal X, though I prefer Obscura over Ardent, simply because the latter one is too dark for my own liking, but both are striking colors. No creasing on my lids as long as you don't cake it up on the crease. I find them very easy to work with.

L/s + l/gL Restrict and Vacant are both lovely products, which work well together or can be worn alone, especially as the former one is more on the opaque side w/o look "dead." I will definitely get more BU as these colors are quite rare. Can't say too much about the darker products as they do not fall into my color scheme, but I can see that these have the potential to be very popular among fans of vampy lips.

Strada, as I said before, is a bit more on the powdery site in comparison to the original. Having played with it for a while now, it shows visible usage. So if you like to contour with it, the product certainly won't last forever, but it's very blendable.

Finally, I'm also a big fan of all three n/p, although in general, I hardly buy n/p these day - but these three are an exception. No wonky brushes and the colors add some real drama to the overall look of this collection.

Tx for the info Mac-Guy! I'm just interested in Fervent & Restrict l/s. Need to try & save a little money for all the upcoming collections. I figure, if I can buy one or two items from each I should be a very happy gal.

Aah that's definitely good to know. Hopefully I don't end up having to spend $30 on a powder-y formulated Strada, I've been wanting to try it as a contour for quite a long time now =/

I have no clue. Cos I got it online but I would assume you can call over the phone and ask a pro store and even just call mac pro online (which is like ordering online)

You don't have to be a Pro member to order Pro products. Just call the Pro store closest to you.

In the UK Strada is always available in Pro-pan (according to the SA at the Pro store in London anyway!).
