Mac-guy & liba-I was just thinking could elude be used for the Kim k style highlighting method ie applied in a triangle shape under the eyes and up onto the cheek bones (not sure if that is the best description!) for a lit from within type effect

It depends on how light or dark your skin is. This might work on darker complexion as a translucent highlight, but for a more dramatic look, I would use a cream foundation or color corrector to achieve the Kim K effect.

I am nw10-15 and I have used liquid and cream products for this technique but I am always excited to try new things

Liba and MAC guy you are killing me. I was gonna skip this collx, but now I feel an irresistable urge to score Elude and the nude lippy. Luckily for me, it is payday soon.

Liba, if you are up for some MU experimenting, try SP Crystal Pink over Elude. On me, it turned out to be a futuristic version of Snow-White-meets-Sugarplum-Fairy, which looks even more awesome in combination with the lavender hues of Vacant over Restrict.

Just got my Elude BP & BU Restrict ls.
love.gif

The powder is an elegant neutral very very soft focus veil over the skin - Just a lovely finish!. Its not yellow, not white, not beige just a soft neutral 'make my skin look flawless' powder. Its not powdery or cakey looking because its whisper soft. I also used (clean) my finger to contour/highlight around my eyes which because of the nature of this powder looks insanely natural & flawless looking. Yes, its worth the $60. I only wish that it came with a refill. Oh, I used the 131 on my face as well.

The compact itself is heavy metal, clean & edgy beautiful! Very high end in the way it looks & feels.

I am still in LOVE with Restrict lipstick. I wear it all the time. I may need another

That's my only regret as well.

And I absolutely agree on Restrict. I'm officially addicted to anything GP-related. Gosh, I hope it sells out soon so I'm not tempted to get any more BU's.

Lovely pictures, Elegant-one. Doesn't Elude feel great in your hands? It's so heavy and luxurious.

It is the heaviest compact I own & yes, luxurious & darkly glamorous. I love looking at the pattern across the powder itself. I've been looking at my skin in the mirror since I put it on :)

Thank you

Thanks for your advice on this product! I think that if its still available after xmas, then I will order one.I really like the idea of a powder that is going to give me a flawless finish but not a shiny shimmery finish like a highlight.

Almost wish I had stuck with my original gut feeling and brought this instead of the brush set from G&I

As we have the same complexion (minus the freckles), I think it will look lovely.
I haven't use the Mineralized Satinfinish in a long time, so I can't really comment on it, but if it is your favorite foundation, then stick to it.

Well theres not a freestanding store near me. :-( I usually have to rely on online swatches. I used to hate being pale but have learned to love it. I've been trying to find a powder to give me the pale porcelin skin look and was hoping this would be it.

Can you try it out in person?
