I agree. Once I saw in temptalia's video that the pink was just a heavy overspray, I had no interest in it. It seems like MAC is getting overspray happy these days.

I was interested in the bronzer but I think I'm skipping it too. I really wanted more of the pink to show. I thought the pink and bronze combination would make a pretty blush color but it doesn't look like enough of the pink show up. But I will try it in person on launch day to be sure.

they look cool, but i think i've reached my fill of "display makeup," that is, makeup i've purchased only to take it out every so often and just stare at it and think, "i spent all this money and i can't even bear to use you..."

This sums up my view exactly. I agree the art is beautiful. But it is make up after all! If I want a collector item, how about a nice bag or promo postcard?

I'm actually not sure why people think that this is a bad product? I truly love the bronzer and I know that even if I use it every day, the pink will last at least 6 - 9 months.

I also love the quality of the e/s palette, which is a great value both in terms of quality of the product itself and of the amount of product you get.

I'm less convinced about the highlighter, as it is like most highlighters (you can't go too wrong with a highlighter). I will still get it though, as I like the design, but it's not my favorite of the three products.

I am not saying its a bad product, just I cannot bear to dig into it and destroy the beauty of it. So it sits and is wasted. I am not sure I would use the color on the e/s palette, they seem like odd pairings to me and I would end up smearing them and not being able to get individual colors unless it is a lot bigger than I think

yeah that is the only item i was interested in but after seeing the swatches i feel like i don't need it. chanel have a pretty one coming out soon which i shall buy. plus i have so many highlighters that i did not need this one.

How can you say it is a waste if you have never seen or swatched the product?

Seriously, the bronzer (including the pink part) will last you forever unless you a serial bronzer who uses bronzer on a daily basis.

I'm thrilled that MAC is venturing into the more artistic side of the product, and hopefully we see more like this. Given that a lot of competitors already offer MU with interesting patterns and design, I am sure that MAC will follow suit.
