Thanks again for the detailed descriptions Liba!I got a chance to see this whole collection yesterday. OK, Parrot…I see what the big deal is. The iridescent quality is very pretty, although I have to admit that even though it's beautiful and long wearing, my favorite turquoise is still that super bright Electric Cool one from last year. If you prefer a powder shadow, you might as well grab Parrot, but if you don't wear turquoise that often and already have some of the ones that came out, like the one that came with Surf Baby or the Mega Metal one, you may not need this. If you're on the quest for the perfect turquoise, you might want to grab it anyhow, though. I'm a little on the fence, just because I usually only wear this shade for going out, not for daytime. The orange shadow is a real standout too - it applied on me more brownish that it looks in the pan. It's got a nice smooth matte texture too. Very pigmented. Again, though, it's comparable to the orange shadow from Mega Metal without the sheen, so I personally am probably going to skip it, but it's a good one, for those who are looking for a color like this - it's very flattering and made my green eyes pop. The bright green shadow is also very high quality for a matte bright green. It's almost the exact color as the bright green that came out a few years ago alongside the Dare To Wear collection - Sassy Grass. It's a teeny bit better formula than Sassy Grass, but Sassy Grass was very good quality already. I'm not going to get it, it's a very close dupe and again, not an everyday color. The purple shadow felt a bit stiffer than the others, but had a nice sheen. I didn't try it on my eyes. I think people may like it, but it's not super unique, nor are the dark blue or pink shadows. Basically, everything is very high quality for MAC shadow, but you may already have all these colors. The quads were quite good, since they were all neutral. Very useful. Again, though, nothing super unique. Especially the grey quad, it seemed to me it'd be worth it to wait for the grey quad with the All About Orange collection, since those shades were really warm toned, which is nice for my coloring. This quad here is nice enough, though, since they were shades that anyone could wear well. I honestly am most excited about the bright blue Opulash, since it's an even nicer version of the one that came out with Wonder Woman, of which I'm almost through with my BUs. The color will definitely show up on dark lashes. All in all, this seems like a collection that will be great for folks who don't already have a ton of eye shadows or who are extreme eyeshadow hoarders, but there isn't anything to be disappointed about. It's coming out in May, but I didn't actually ask for the exact release date - can you see how underwhelmed I am? I'd rather wait for other things coming out in the summer, even though these are very good quality.
Yeah Partylicious...I like that one and Urban Decay Peace. I need to add Parrot into the mix.My fav tourquoises are Partylicious and my Sugarpill one and their both piggies so Id love a good pressed shadow! So excited for Parrot!
Do you know how the orange compares to Rule and/or Red Brick? I'm trying to cut down my wish list, and not succeeding very much.I got a chance to see this whole collection yesterday.

Hmmm - I wasn't paying too close attention. I swatched the purple, then looking them over saw a dusky blue, but the purple does have a blue sheen, so maybe I just glanced at the pot at a different angle and wasn't really registering it. Or there were 6 - either way, the purple was the driest consistency plus was a little muddy colored and if there was a separate blue, we've already seen it before - sort of a grayish navy, like the one from Mega Metal. Not too interesting, imo.liba, will there be 6 single eyeshadows?
You mentioned Parrot, an orange, a bright green, a purple, a dark blue and a pink eyeshadow.
I can only see 5 in the color story![]()
I finally went to the doctor on tuesday. She's baffled as to why after 17yrs my meds stopped working. She's keeping me on the daily elavil so my body doesnt go i to shock going off it. She also added inderal daily to prevent the migraines and stop the daily headaches that returned as well. Instead of imitrex I'm now on maxalt. This ought to be interesting to see what happens. For me, the auras are worse than the head pain, so I'm hoping that the maxalt will help with those as well.Fioricet or Esgic Plus. The only thing that works for me. It has an f-load of acetaminophen, a barbituate and caffeine. That plus Compazine (sp) for nausea and some steroid nose spray which helps with my sinuses during headaches as my right nostril tends to swell shut. I had a migraine yesterday. I was out of medicine and I NEVER run out of that stuff, because it feels like hell otherwise. It lasted two days and I had tracers. Suck.
Why did you hate it? What are you taking when you get one one? Relpax is my other option, but there isn't a generic for it yet, and I'd have to pay $45 a month for it. So we're trying the Maxalt first. I got the dissolvable kind over the tablet. :dunno:Going to ask my doctor about those drugs. I hated maxalt too.
If the Inderal doesn't work, Topamax is the next one to try. And yes, it's an anti-seizure med. The Inderal was a good option to try first cuz my resting pulse is normally 100-120, so this is lowering it nicely to around 85-95. So far i haven't had a normal daily headache and I've been on it for 4 days. And the weather has been rainy, dreary, overcast yuckiness, so that's saying something!Geez. That sounds so unpleasant. I hope they can sort it out for you. I have a friend who takes Topamax for migraine prevention (I believe it is an anticonvulsant) and she has had success with that. Bon chance, mon ami!

That's why you need a teal/turq palette!Ugh I'm so tempted to get Parrot because all the swatches I've seen of it look soooo pretty, but my palette of blues is already full and I don't even wear blue very often. At least not bright blues. So I will try to just keep my eyes shut tightly when this releases and pass on it, but the temptation is there... Guess I just have to look at it as more $$$ for other collections.
Oh, you are bad erine. That's why you need a teal/turq palette!
Damn already I thought this wasn't going to pop up online until may. Oh well time to get some goodiesIt's up on PRO site! Still deciding what to get... I'm broke with all these collections lol!
