Well, I live in Germany, so it wouldn't be too much trouble for me to get it, but it costs alot more than when I buy from mac.com. I only pay the € price when I really have to. I agree though, I sometimes hate exclusives, it makes things so much harder to get your hands on.

I have a US shipping address through my husbands work... so it isn't technically going to a European address. It's much cheaper and I can use my Pro discount as well.

It's very nice but I don't know if it's all that unique. I think it may have been more unique when it was first introduced back in 2004. Nowadays, you might be able to find a similar color with a brand like Inglot.

Noted. As I'm planning on buying a few things from Inglot this weekend, I think I can remain calm over Parrot. Thanks!

i only like Jaan from the athma quad. i didnt really touch Vivah like that and 2 of the colors are permanent (folie, and carbon) but it does make a good neutral quad for beginners i think.

ya know, that's probably what it is. I bought it when I was a beginner, and wasn't sure I liked it, so gave it away. I think my lemming for it could be for what I think it was, and not what it actually is. I'm sure by now, I have plenty of dupes.

i really like this quad. despite the two perm shades. actually, i find it extremely useful for travelling with....if i take a shade like saffron along with it, and either blacktrack or smolder, it's perfect for creating varying degrees of sultry eyes... i didn't think of it as being for beginner's, unless what you mean is that when a person is beginning their collection as opposed to referring to their level of skill!

I really like the single eyeshadows in this collection. I will definetely be picking up some of those, and also those chromagraphic pencils.

The colors in the Masat Al Lail quad are the exact same ones that were in Gentle Fume quad from the Smoke Signals collection which was released in 2007.

Well, maybe just international-only then. :dunno: For the one quad to be the exact same colours as the smoking quad??? MAC doesn't do that in the states.
