Banafsaji over primer/without Parrot without/over primer They are both a tad stiff and needed more than one layer to achieve this (what's the word?) lol Banafsaji is definitely my favorite of the two.
Banafsaji is lovely on you! :drools: Great colour.
I hoarded that bad boy as soon as i heard it was being DCd! Are you sure the box didn't say Veluxe, rather than VP? It's really a Veluxe finish, tho T and everyone else mentioned it wrongly as a matte, as they are quite different.
I was too late, they send those they had away so fast it made my head spin, normally in Europe stuff stays around much longer. Not this time. OT, do you think the champagne colour from Temperature Rising is a dupe?

I got both Banafsaji and Hajar Karim today! I'm in love with Banafsaji!! It is gorgeous!!! As for Hajar Karim, the pigmentation is so-so that I had to use a brush to pack it on my hand in order to show up for a decent swatch.

dang maybe I should've just stuck with parrot and called it a day.
what else did you get? That dark brwn in the quad didn't cut it for me... I like the other colors though. I have 2 parrot e/s from like 7 years ago..lol... I'm going to try them on my eyes and see if the difficult ones applies better :/

I wound up returning Hajar Karim today based on all of your reviews. It seems like too much trouble to work with. Lucky for me, I posted a want add for sassy grass ES bc it seems to have better color pay off, and I got a reply within minutes. I will be getting sassy grass in the mail soon and im super excited! has any one ever used SG? Your thoughts please
Sassy Grass is not only a great matte shade, it's an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G matte green shade!! I have it and I love it very much!

Medgal, here are my eyes... Please don't quote, I'm probably gonna delete it. LOL So with an eye shape like this, where does the transition color go?

My lids are the same. I just put the transition color where my natural crease is when I close my eyes. Then I continue to blend up until I can see the transition with my eyes open. So I guess I'm blending it above my natural crease. No idea if that's the correct way, but it's what I tend to do. I pay a lot of money for eye makeup and I want to see it with my eyes open. Lol!

Can anyone suggest eye looks for Rimal Dahabia? Today I wore Beauty Burst on the lid, Najm el Lail in the crease/outer V/under eye, Soft Brown transition and Shroom to highlight. Groundwork p/p was the base. The look was kind of blah. Beauty Burst seemed too warm or otherwise out of place with the rest of the shadows.
I think the trouble is more of the colour placement along with the textures in the placement. Try switching the lid and crease colour, using the darkest on the lid and BB in the crease. When using two dark colours that are not far off in intensity, it's ideal to do the darkest on the lid and the lighter of the two in the crease. When using the darkest in the crease, you want to have a more of a contrast in intensity on the lid. Does that make sense? Or try shroom on the lid, BB in crease, SB as transition, anf the dark in the outer corner.

I didn't quote as you requested. They are some VERY pretty eyes Prettypackages! I understand what you're saying. I have that too---a little hood. You mentioned limited eye-space, but that can be resolved by trimming your eyebrows. Not thinning, but at the arch by taking a bit off there. It would immediately give you more space. I LOVE your eyebrows and I wouldn't thin them! I still say, the space above your crease but below your brow/highlight area. When applying e/s you don't see the hood. Apply your crease color and your transition color above your crease.

That's how I do it too so I hope it's correct. It generally looks fine.

i'm not sure i do entirely the same thing, but i think so...i just kinda apply the shadow with my eye open.
i also have started avoiding putting frosty light shadows on the 'hood'...if i use a brow highlight, i try to do it only very very close to the brow.

Thank you lady!! You should see my brows now, just got them threaded, specifically said, leave them thick, and she took way too much off. If you are familiar with the anstasia brow stencils they fit perfectly in the high arch, ,but I like the full arch. Now with that being said, I do like the room under the arch. LOL

thanks for not quoting the pic, I know I'm being silly. LOL

Ok after looking at the pic again, maybe she didn't take that much off.

I had my makeup done in that pic, and they used blacktrax as a base, and I ant to say blue flame on the lid. I don't remember the brown in the crease...
