This would be great. I mean, I love a pink lipstick as much as the next girl but how many do we need? And could it be a unique pink? I didn't even get into MAC until a couple years ago so I'm sure there are plenty of great shades that I've missed and would love to try.

On a totally different note lol, I was just imagining if they made a Firm-Form like color but with a purple/magenta pearl instead of gold. How pretty would that be?

That is so true! And let's face it, this kind of collection depends on mac fanatics to buy the shades, so I don't understand why they didn't come out with some frenzy worthy colours.

Exactly what I'm saying. It's great that they're bringing back old school shades but the colors aren't anything to go crazy over. They should pay more attention to what the mac fanatics want to see! After all, were the ones giving them money over and over..

Top 3 will probably be Heroine, Strong Woman and Moxie/Quick Sizzle. In reality they probably should have just made those perm.  Feels like we will never get Queen's Sin 

Those should definitely be perm shades. For By Request, they should repromote old shades that haven't been around in a while but that have a variety.

They need to do a BR collection of lip pencils. 2 that I think should be included would be BBQ and Grape.

I wish we'd get Queen's Sin and Prince Noir as options sometime. I do like the idea of all these older colors from the 90s and before coming back though and think these colors maybe look kinda meh to some because so much time has passed and MAC has had so much time to repeat the color scheme so often. I mean how many times can you do a red/orange and not have it seem repetitive? lol

I'm happy with the selections, I can get my hands on these!! Glad they aren't recent releases, as most of those can and prob will be repromoted at some point. Current perfection for winners: tomango, rozz, glam and eyeshadow; fiction, ashbury, diesel

I totally understand your point of view and agree. I guess all I'm saying it I wanted some variety. That's all. Not all orange/pink lipsticks. Throw in a purple or a nude or something.

Here's another...what about doing By Request twice a year. Spring/Summer with pastel/bright colors and Fall/Winter with vampy/neutral colors. Now that would be awesome.

I seem to be one of the few that actually like the lipstick selections! I reeeeeally like how Rozz and Tomango are pre-1990! I'm going through an 80's kick lately and those lipsticks are calling my name Flavour is nice too. Colors like Hoop drive me crazy.....how many rosey pinks does this world need -____- but more for others! So my lipstick picks are Rozz, Tomango, and Flavour!! happy happy

The colors that they selected seem to be 'safe,' guaranteed to turn a profit with the general public. Not the gorgeous, wish it would come back colors that everyone on here wants.
