yes, suppose it was a big mistake on macs part, listing it as something it isnt lol
I was hoping hoop would be matte but that actually might be good for me for right now. I love matte but it's harder to wear on me in the winter. For example my riri boy I rocked all summer soon as it started getting cold. It looks to dry on my lips. No matter what I tried put on underneath. So it may be a blessing in disguise for me as most of my lipsticks are matte.

Because MAC has nothing like it and I believe it will be the perfect matte highlight or all over the lid eye shadow for my skin tone. Plus the only known dupe is LE and I don't have it.

After swatching both Hoop and Glam when they arrived today, they are both definitely NOT matte. Satin, for definite. The website is wrong.Also hoop is a satin - according to the box and the label.
I like my satin's but still if you go to the mac site, to the lipsticks and choose the finish MATTE, it shows up under that

I'm glad I swatched them. I have nearly 60 MAC lipsticks and I don't think I have anything like either Hoop or Glam. I'll have to do some comparison swatches when I get home next week from visiting my parents but they seem quite unique to my personal collection.
I ordered all 3 shadows, simply because I could.. but I'm going on a no-buy for quite a while now unless it's an absolute must-have item.
I don't like lipgloss so I managed to skip all 3 of those and Pink Poodle just wasn't up my alley, so at least I managed to leave out 4 things from this collection.

Not gonna lie, I checked this thread, saw this picture and went straight to the Mac site and bought Glam and Butterscotch... :haha: I was already going to get Butterscotch, but this picture sold me on Glam as well. I bought all three lipsticks, and then threw the brownluxe veluxe pearlfusion palette in my cart. Followed by the pink lipstick pro palette.
