MAC by Request (April 1,2014)

Yay my mac order just arrived. First thing I did was get out the products and compare them to what I have.
Pink poodle was similar to girl about town. It looked slightly more vibrant in comparison. I would still have gotten pink poodle...it looks better than girl about town in my opinion.
Hoop- was way darker than angel and had no shimmer. It was like the pink version of see sheer.
Butterscotch was very similar in colour to ricepaper. Looked like a matte version.
Diesel will slot in nicely with the other greys in my collection, its a bit on the dark side like typographic...very rich still and fantastic for a smokey eye.
Fiction will also slot nicely with my greens, its way darker sumptuous olive, as dark as club...very similar but without the brown...it will be good for a smoky green eye look, and will pair very nicely with sumptous olive.

can you do side by sides of butterscotch and ricepaper!? Please!

None are dupes, just helping people see similarities in colour. I would still get these colours if I had the choice to see comparisons. Diesel is nothing like typographic, just dark. Fiction is similar to club but greener.

I want to buy Butterscotch but I already have Ricepaper.

I would still get butterscotch because if you like ricepaper, its like ricepaper with oomph and its matte. I guess it depends, if you don't want another similar colour...then I would pass.

I'm in the UK - Glam sold out on the second day. If it had stayed in stock until they put up the eyeshadows I would have bought it (also wanted Fiction) but no way I was going to pay shipping twice.

I've been meaning to try Ricepaper for the longest anyway since it's a good highlight color for my skin tone. Good to know that I'll have a matte and shimmer highlight. Thanks again!!

I have Paint Pots on, Perky on the lid and Frozen Violet in the crease. I brushed some Naked pigment under the brow and on the edge of the crease pigment to highlight and soften. I did have a green pencil lining my eyes but it was mostly worn off by the time I took this.
