I skipped it for the same reason, after many strikes including Betty Bright and Nicki Minaj I realized those colors are sadly too difficult to work with for us toasty gals

Sadly, I have to return or maybe I can swap with someone. The gloss has a weird consistency. I didn't apply smoothly but very gloopy as though the product was mixed properly. I've never experienced this with other lip glasses from MAC.
In addition, I didn't know Pink Poodle Lip Stick was a glaze because online it says it's a frost. I think MAC was a little deceptive in labeling Pink Poodle lipstick. It's a gorgeous color though.

They really are I'm getting ready to order another butterscotch or 2. lol. I also received my replacement hoop as well.

Got my Hoop set and Pink Poodle set im super happy with them. Hoop is my fave. And the Embrace me lipglass and Pink Poodle by request lipglass is about exact dupes. Will look in different light but whoever noticed that was right on!! Saved me from BU PP lipglass!!

As promised....here's a quick swatch of Butterscotch on my lid without a primer or base (it literally disappeared on my arm!). Excuse my lack of makeup! I just threw on Hoop. All in all, I'm glad I got back ups. Butterscotch will be perfect for my "no makeup" makeup eye looks. Here I had to pack it on because like I said I didn't use a primer or base and it blends into my skin. So this is after about two layers. For reference I'm NC43. HTH!

I got my PP ls and lg today. Glaze on my NW45 skintone is a waste but with Vino liner and the gloss over it it's very pretty. I really want Glam ls and lg now. Hopefully they will sell out! LOL

Yeah, I agree. Karen's swatches are more reliable, and they have normal room lighting, not studio. Her skin tones also closer to mine, and she writes funny posts!

Temptalia's swatches have always been quite accurate. But, while I enjoy Karen's swatches, I can't get an idea of what the products would look like on me since her skintone is so different from mine.
