I got to MAC today and got make-over
I posted FOTD it's not the best pictures but i tried lol .I really really like the Shadowy Lady quad it's my favorite and the colors are great.I got also the Spiced quad.She used the Blooming blush on me ,but it's not showing too much
In the pot looks really light pink color-she said can be build ,but hmm i really dont know -she swapped it several times and still i cant say i have blush at all

So jealous of everyones hauls todayyy. Mine did not make it here for some reason. Even though I ordered at 8:15 am and paid for 2nd day delivery. I could have sworn the site said if you get it in before 11am or something it was guaranteed to arrive in two days, otherwise it'd be the third. I might have to call them about this and get that extra money refunded 'cause that's just not fair!
And still here I am planning what ELSE to get before my first haul even arrives. So sad.

Happy CoC day everyone!
So I just got back from Nordstroms and man oh man I loved this collection alot more than I thought I would since I am normally into colors like blues, greens, and pinks.
I eneded up with:
So Scarlet lipstick
Cult of Cherry lipglass
Kirsch Mattene
Bing Mattene
Cherry Blossom Lipglass
I am getting the quads for my birthday so I didn't get any of those today. I hate that I might have to wait until my actual birthday in September to play with the quads!
I did try out smudged violet and I don't know if it was because a bunch of people have touched it already but I couldn't get a good color payoff. It really doesn't seem like a lustre at all. I agree that it feels more like a frost. It has a ton of gold in it which is really pretty. For all of those who are looking for dupes I took a swatch of smudged violet to Sephora and the closest dupes I can find were Urban Decay's crash which has a little more of a copper base and NARS eye shadow duo in Habanera (that darker color) which is a little flatter than smudged violet. Hopefully that helps some of you.
For all of you lighter skinned girls (I am NW 15) So Scarlet actually really brightened up my complexion instead of washing it out like I was worried it would do. It is so gorgeous. And I am really loving bing as a stain with clear lipglass on top.

I love all the lipglasses more than anything in this collection! I only bought $77 worth of stuff INCLUDING 2 Overrich pigments

But my favs are Rich & Ripe and CoC! Omg R&R is absolutely stunning! I think its unique and I don't know of a l/g that is perm that is just like it. Its like a pinkish strawberry drink pouring out of your lips. lol I am wearing it right now and I am in loveeee
CoC l/g is just the perfect red, enough said. I like it way better than Red Romp actually. You can wear it alone or wear it with any of the lippies in this collection.
I liked Cherry Blossom but I didn't get it b/c it looks too much like Sugar Trance on me which I have. It is a pretty baby pink though.
Liqueur is nice and it would look beautiful over O l/s but I didn't get this one either just b/c I know I won't use it as much.
I also didn't get Jampacked as its way too similar to Pop Mode but a tad darker and more red. Its gorgeous though and I think its a must in this collection.
So Scarlet freaked me out in the tube. lol B/c it looks soo dark but when applied it is the most sexiest red I have ever seen! I B2M this one and I might pick up a back up next week when I am at the event.
Creme Cerise and Lightly Ripe didn't show up on me at all. I have semi pigmented lips so that is perhaps why. They seem very dupable as well.
I had O before but I sold it, it wasn't my color and Russian Red is in the perm like so I didn't bother with those.
Kirsch is beautiful! But I just couldn't get myself to buy it. Too dark for my taste. Bing is also nice but I didn't think it was as nice as Kirsch. Chocful was just out of the question. lol haha I don't want muddy lips, no thanks maa'm! Rapturous, although pretty, just reminded me of Russian Red. So none of these did anything for me.
Blooming didn't show up on me one bit. lol I didn't like the texture either. It was a Frost.
Plum Du Bois is pretty but its similar to my X Rocks but X Rocks is a whole lot better in color and texture!
I didn't swatch the nail lacquers b/c OPI has better colors in their new collection. And these didn't wow me.
As for all the quads, lets just say the MAs at the counter thought they were all dupable. LOL I laugh at that b/c I know how honest they can be with me so they didn't even bother trying to sell it to me. But their most fav is the Tempting Quad b/c they said it fits the bill with the darker lippies. Shadowy Lady is pretty but very dupable (except Smudged Violet which is an okay color when applied on eyes). Spiced Chocolate is also dupable with all the colors. And tbh, I think that is sooo true. Reminds me of the pic they have in the Sept edition of Allure magazine where they used the Tempting Quad with the dark berry lips. It was to die for!

I just got my online order today. The first thing I did was try on Kirsch mattene and I am soooooo loving it! This color is really going beyond my comfort zone, but when I tried it on I can totally see myself rocking this color. Now I am so anxious to visit my MAC store so I can try on Bing mattene.
I am also loving Creme Cerise l/s. I'm Asian, NC30-40, and have pigmented lips. For some wierd reason, I have a hard time finding nude l/s that doesn't make me look like the living dead. Surprisingly, Creme Cerise work so well for me that I'm actually contemplating getting a backup for the first time ever!

it took me forever to get through all those pages!! you ladies have been talking up a storm but for good reason. lol. It was great to read all of your reviews especially GlamYOURUs's because she's a few shades lighter then me. lol.
i think So Scarlet and Cult of Cherry l/g will be coming home with me and i will check out the other lippies and maybe get my parents to get me something as a birthday gift as my birthday is tomm!! YAY!! lol.

Today I had on a green eyes and I came home and tried on my stash to stop myself from buying anything, and
Surprise, Surprise, a deep dark matte red or burgundy lips with chartreuse eyes work. I never would have thunk it.
Still getting So Scarlet and CoC because CoC is a must-have.

I finally got to the MAC store in Vancouver, B.C., today, and didn't get as much as I thought! I was going to buy at least 5 lip products, but only ended up with Rich and Ripe, and Glamyourus, I am so with you on this - I hate buying backups of things, but on this I am seriously tempted. (no pun intended)
I loved the blushes, and the MA convinced me that Blooming would suit me best (I just love that Plum Du Bois, though, cry, cry), and of course she was right. That's what she is paid for, right! The MA was a total sweetie, and really helped me pick things out.
I also got the Shadowy Lady quad, I didn't have any of those, but I'm not sure why I didn't notice the mauvement/smudged violet connection. Oh well, I love both so much, I don't really mind. I bought mauvement last summer.
I also ended up getting heritage rouge and blonde's gold. I did a little thinking about these, and the pricepoint/per/gram thing is still pretty good - and they're both so lovely. Hertige rouge makes me happy in a definite sort of way - I can't wait to play with it.
As a last thing, I ducked into the MAC counter at the Georgia Bay store, and they still had Solar White! So, that was a perfect ending to a MAC-o- iffic day.
