ETA: I wore Kirsch mattene to night class tonight, toned down a bit, and got major compliments on it! So excited to have found a new look, especially with fall (and my upcoming trip to NY!!) on the way.

just think of that quad as easily dupable, that you dont really need it and to save for future collections and keep repeating that in your head patty...it helps some...i think....

OMG i seriously just spent 1.5 hrs reading all the posts in the past day! I don't think I've seen everyone so hyped up for a collection like this ever! Well okay I've only been on here since the spring but still...not being able to sleep the night before? hahaha I love it, I'm so glad I'm not the only one obsessed here. Now I just need to ward off all these temptations for products I didn't think I wanted til now...

I thought I had talked myself out of it, but now I don't know. I am in need of more neutral shadows to wear with my newly acquired Bing and Kirsch mattenes. I don't know what to do now

dont stress over a quad that is easily dupable...if you think that you REALLY do need it then go for it but in my opinion it's dupable and if you already have colors similar to the one in the quad it's not really a neccessity to have. if anything if you want it just for the green get a smiliar color to that green and mix and match your neutrals and browns with it.

To divert my attention from the Tempting quad, would Velvetella creamstick liner be a good choice to use with Bing and Kirsch? I don't own any lip liners, but you definately need one with these babies. I'd prefer the creamstick liners, but if anyone has any other suggestions, that'd be great too

I don't even have any of the colors in any of the quads. lol I do have Eyepopping though and I might get Brun the next time I am there.

Highlighter of YOUR choice (likes a makes an effing difference what the highlighter is in the quad, everyone uses different ones as their personal pref, right?)

I am so proud too! I usually spend over $100 easily on every collection and this time I wasn't even close!

I might as well stop making any claims that I'm not going to go to crazy with each collection! Okay, well I didn't actually go nuts with this one, but still ended up with more than the two lippies and one quad that was originally on my list. So here it is, and I don't think I'm done yet!!!
Tempting quad, Cherry Blossom l/g, Blooming blush and Kirsch mattene and tomorrow DH will be picking up So Scarlet (B2M) and Liqueur (B2M) along with the Spiced Chocolate quad. My biggest surprise was that I skipped Lightly Ripe l/s, it just didn't do anything for me. Oh, and so much for my blush no buy after Sonic Chic!!! I'm still considering Bing!

I went to the nearest Pro store to check out the Cult...and I feel somehow let down. So Scarlet, which I have wanted since I heard of it here, doesn't seem to suit me. It is incredibly beautiful, but looks too macabre on me on its own. Of all the lipsticks, the swatch that looked the best on me was Russian Red, and I already have that.
On lipglasses, however, Cult of Cherry is gorgeous! Cherry Blossom also is a beautiful shade, though I must say I was suckered in by the name of the colour alone. (If they create a generic Asian-themed or even a Japanese-themed collection in the future, this l/g would be the perfect repromote.)
Sharp looks very similar to both Bitter e/s and Sour Lemon e/s in the Pro collection, though both colors have less of a sheen to them, and Bitter has a slightly more apple-green tint to it. I have Bitter, so I should be fine...
So...I didn't walk out with anything, but I am definitely going back for the two lipglasses. As for So Scarlet...I'll still consider it.

My MA used Spiced lip liner to use with Kirsch. I used Oak lip liner earlier too...
I think since both are so dark, it doesn't really matter what liner you may use since it'll be covered. I think. haha
