BTW, Erine, I noticed you mentioned that you thought the finish of Smudged Violet could be mislabeled. They say it's a frost, but what do you think it is? Is this color special enough to buy the quad if I already have Deep Truth and Shadowy Lady? Is it similar to anything else?

I'm in love with a bunch of those face charts. I don't care if they look 'scary' or 'gothic' - they make me bloody happy. I think my favourite three are So Scarlet, Bing and Lightly Ripe. Clearly I go for the subtle and understated, right?
I'm showing my boyfriend some of these facecharts and he HATES them. He is so not going to be loving it when this collection comes out, because I will be all over it. Ohhhhh, I'm so excited. Thanks for posting these, Erine!

You know I'm excited for this collection. I love bold looks for the Fall and these colors look hot. I guess someone could apply the lip colors lightly using it as a tint if they're not use to them.
I love changing up my makeup styles and colors cause I get bored easily so i love that this collection is so different from what's out now.
Sanayhs- my boyfriend hates all of the makeup looks I love- he hates bright eyeshadows, bold lips, blush, etc etc etc. He just hates when I wear makeup- oh, well too bad cause I aint giving up makeup anytime soon (if ever).

iirc, it was a...lustre. i can't be 100% sure, but that's what i think it was. whatever it was, it wasn't chunky, so that's good.

I don't think I could pull off most of these looks either (and really have nowhere to go wearing them anyway), but I still hope to use some of the products in this collection a bit more toned-down way....

this collection is going to be awesome. i don't really mind that the face charts are dark. i never base my purchase decisions on them anyway. i still love the so scarlet look that is in the promo image. i plan on wearing a more tone downed version of it. i'll more than likely be getting the following:

Who says u have to wear the face charts as they are? I just don't think people should pass judgment based on the charts. Of course they are over the top and gothic, but that is the idea behind this collection.
I know i am at least going to get all of the quads and I will look to the lipsticks with an open mind. MAC seems to be switching it up in a big way with these and thats just fine with me
