I gave away my invitation to the unveiling at the Bloor Street store, which was on tonight. I am so MAC'd out at the moment...
I was taken to the back to see everything. I can wait until it officially goes on sale next week. I didn't feel any rush to buy at the party this evening.

I was wrong. Thanks to Adina's swatches, I can see that this collection really is all about the lippies. The lipglasses are gorgeous. Just from her swatches I want Jam Packed, Rich and Ripe and Cult of Cherry. Maybe several of Cult of Cherry lipglass. I never seen such a beautiful red lipglass in all the time I've been into MAC. I also want Lightly Ripe and So Scarlet lipsticks too.
And of course Spiced Chocolate quad to. Brash is fabulous looking.
The swatches of the blushes look similar to blushes I already have, so I may skip them.

Oh, brash is amazing. If i could make my own quad it would have sharp, brash, smudged violet and hmmmm smudged violet. LOL, it would probably look horrible together but those are my fav colors in the quads!

Aww, :blushes: Thanks so much Smmy!! The lipglasses are gorgeous, and even though I have given up on mac lipglasses I had to get cult of cherry because it is such a beautiful vibrant sparkling red!

Pffft! It's completely true. Those colors are so flattering on you. The CoC lipglass would be perfect for fall and into winter. It's such a face brightening red and not the least bit blah. I'm actually thinking getting two of these, since I don't have anything remotely like it.

Yes, Brash really pops out of all the colors you swatched from that quad. And I do wish that Smudged Violet was sold separately too. It is an intriguing looking color, but I can't see buying virtually a whole quad for just one color.

Does anybody have the same problem as me, where your lipgloss gets stuck on your hair? lol. I really want to get the cult of cherry lipglass, but I dont want my hair full of red goo lol. Oh the drama of MAC.

I'm thinking of getting So Scarlet lippie, but I have MAC Red already and I never wear it. I guess I can never find the nerve to wear red lippies. I love red lippies but I dont think they look good with my skintone.

Thanks dancer, for the swatches! I'm loving Tempting and Shadowy Lady Quads. The lip colours are very nice but too dark for my comfort except Cherry Blossom. Is Cherry Blossom frosty? From your swatch it does not look so. How is it comparable to Cultureclash from Electroflash? I find Cultureclash too frosty and silvery for me and if Cherry Blossom is like that, then I would not want it.

Not frosty, just shimmers with a microglitter. I don't have culturclash but from the swatches I see cultureclash is a frosty light pink with white in it whereas cherryblossom is a microglittery pink with pink shimmers

Silverstruck - Grey, thats all Illegal Purple - Deep dark royal purple Plum du Bois - A golden bronze with definite brown in it Blooming - To me this was more of a deep dusky pink
All in all, the quads are absolutely gorgeous as is so scarlet lipstick. Those in my opinion are the standouts
