Not frosty, just shimmers with a microglitter. I don't have culturclash but from the swatches I see cultureclash is a frosty light pink with white in it whereas cherryblossom is a microglittery pink with pink shimmers

Thanks! So glad to hear that Cherryblossom has pink shimmers and not white like cultureclash. The white in cultureclash kills that l/g on me. Now I'm can't wait to get my hands on Cherryblossom!

Ugh I am so torn on this Spiced Choc quad, it comes down to Brash and Sweet Chestnut being unique enough for me to justify buying it seeing as the other two aren't IMO and is it just me or does SC look a lot like Heritage Rouge (among the other things already brought up)? Maybe I'll skip Heritage Rouge for now instead since it's perm.

Did anyone else get an apron at the CoC event? I wish it had pockets, but still...the apron is awesome!

Anywhoo I went to the event and wasn't a fan of the lipsticks or Mattenes. Blooming blush looks to actually be pretty neat. The lipglasses and the Spiced Chocolate quad are my favourite things in it. I got Cult of Cherry and Rich & Ripe, however I may end up getting the other three lipglasses as well as Blooming. Also saw Overrich, and I posted my thoughts in that thread.

Anyone have any thoughts on Liquor l/g? I'm rethinking my previous decision that it would be ugly...in fact I added it to my list! I only saw one swatch and I haven't heard much/any discussion on it yet.

so im not really feeling the quads i may just go and check out Lightly Ripe and O lippies and the lipglass but that's about it. If i feel like i dont need either i can safely pass this collection.

I dont know why but looking at the new swatches i feel like i wont use Sharp that much...it's a pretty color though. I'll probably regret not getting this later. lol. Oh well!!

Okay my list has changed. lol Jampacked looks too much like Pop Mode which I don't even wear. So that is off the list. Cult of Cherry, So Scarlet, and Rich & Ripe are the only ones on my list. I do love the blushes but they look too much like the ones I already own. Bummer. All quads are dupable IMO. Well I guess that is good for my bank account. lol

OH darn you Adina! I only wanted the Spiced Chocolate quad before.. and NOW I want Cult of Cherry lipglass and Lightly Ripe lipstick now as well! So Scarlet still scares me lol.

But I have Queen's Sin and 2 Red Romps.. should I skip Cult of Cherry? I don't really use red that much, though I used to a lot. XD

I went to the party tonight and really enjoyed it
The only thing I bought was the Tempting Quad, which I love.
Ill think about the other things until it goes on sale.

Im all about art with eyeshadows though, so this collection definitely wasn't made for me, but thats ok, everything was still beautiful.

Do you think the Plum du Bois blush would be too dark for someone who is NW15-20? I don't have many purples and want to get the Shadowy Lady quad but sometimes purples can make my eyes look bruised. What do you think of these?

ohhh.... I've just seen Apricot's swatch of rich & ripe l/g in the swatch thread and it looks absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!

I know that this lipglass is being sent to me but going on that swatch I may need to think about getting a backup when this finally gets released in Australia (no idea when that will be)

Does anyone know if there is a similar lipglass to this in the permanent line?

Adina, holy moly woman! Those lip combos look phenominal on you!

Any WHY must you have so much love for Smudged Violet? I am trying SO hard to resist that quad. I don't know if I will be able to now

The lippies all look so gorgeous, but I think only Lightly Ripe l/s and Cherry Blossom will be coming home with me, along with Blooming Blush and quite possibly the Shadowy Lady Quad (grrrr!)

I can see that I'm gonna go broke messing around with this collection. A MAC newbie and the colors are gorgeous for fall. I checked the swatch thread and want like all of them. The glosses definitely. (I have short hair, so hair in the gloss isn't a problem for me!) and at least two of the lippies, if not more. Throw in the spiced chocolate quad and it's OVA!!!

I noticed that they got rid of the primary and secondary displayers and introduced a new larger size. I like it. I imagine it will be welcomed at the counters as it takes up less space.

The swatch for Rich & Ripe look so different as compared to the first swatches. I can't wear such dark shades! Only Cherry Blossom looks wearable for me...

Woo, thanks to all for the reviews/swatches from the unveiling last night! I am now even more stoked for this collection & I'm impatiently waiting for the release next Thursday.

The lippies really seem to stand out in this collection. I'm so glad I've started to get more comfortable wearing darker lippies. Its not an everyday thing for me, but I'll definitely get some uses out of these

So Scarlet + Cult of Cherry looks sooo HOT - thank you Adina for posting that combo, you are so rockin' it!!

Can someone please compare both of the blushes to any perm or LE blushes? Since I'm getting like 6-7 lippes & 2 quads, I'm trying to see if I can pass on these... TIA!
