MAC - Cult of Cherry Discussion

For those who are a little hesitant, So Scarlet doesn't look Goth on IMO even though it looks really dark in the tube. I wore it during the afternoon and was quite comfortable with it on. Some of the Mattenes are really deep dark reds but So Scarlet is for anyone who likes red lipstick and don't forget it is an amplified creme which is a fantastic formula.

Rapturous is my favorite l/s of all time I think and I have a back up from that from the last time it came out. That is the only l/s someone actually asked me about and I had to take her to mac to get it. I'm PPP and blonde too.

Mattenes are long wearing and light weight! Super light Weight and on me non drying. I love them.

I'v been watching you tube vids of different COC Unveling parties and tbh, all the MAs look ravishing with their dark lippies and light eye makeup. This collection is perfect for fall and dark lips are definitely in. I think the collection will be most popular for the lippies than anything else.

I found about some pretty Vampy lippies in another forum on Specktra, recommended by a lovely mua ...quite a bit less expensive...

Never fear, as I *will* have paws on C of C soon...a new (older) 2nd car has turned out to be a lemon, so no more m/u spending now. I am not very patient, but I must be a good girl...Car needs fixing & will give CherylFaith Freedom to take little boy to school...& once car's fixed, I'm in trouble...I will need to hide plastic at home somewhere for awhile...

I know I'm a weirdo, but I think I have 11 Red-toned lipsticks!


Maybe it's time for me to try neutrals...but I doubt it.

LE collections come here two months later and this is the first time I'm glad about it.Because this collection will cause me the biggest haul ever and I need time to save some money.I think this is the best LE collection of this year.

This will be mostly about the lips for me. I've pretty well decided on Lightly Ripe, Kirsch and Bing. So Scarlet is a maybe because while beautiful I think it may be too bright for me. The poor Shadowy Lady Quad that gets no love is still a possibility...it all depends on how Smudged Violet and the hilite color swatch on me. I guess I'm most undecided yet on the lipglosses. The only one I know I don't want is Liquor. Can't wait to see it all IRL!

A lot of the ma's were rocking the dark mattenes and it did look hot! Another product from the line that got lots of love was the spiced chocolate quad. The ma's made these 2 go together perfectly!

This collection is seriously tempting me to try dark mattenes even thought I don't do bold colours on my lips ever. What do you girls think? Yay or Nay??
