For a really easy red to wear that isn't too intense, bright or dark, I like sci-fi-delity from Neo Sci Fi. I find it's a good red that's not too high maintenance. For a bright red, I love my classic dame mattene. It's a shame they are both LE.

Another LE one I want (but don't have) is Swelter. I think that would be a great one for daytime.

Whether it is dreary or not really depends on how you wear it.

Very true! I dont like the look of the Mattenes, which I'm kinda gutted abt cos I love their texture (I wish they would reformulate all the Matte l/s to feel like these) but I am looking forward to rocking some deep smokey colours on the eyes at work... but I wont be buying anything.

i love mattenes, but 1 thing really bugs me is that you cannot layer a gloss over it

When I went to the MAC store today I saw one of the artists makeing a Cult of Cherry face chart. At least I think that is what is was because the face chart had cherry earrings. I am not sure what lipstick she used but it was a very dark berry color and it looked gorgeous. It made me a little more excited for this collection. It looks so perfect for fall!

This collection is perfect for Fall. I plan to get a the Spiced Chocolate Quad and look at the lipsticks, but it's also a great time to bust out all of those dark plum and burgundy blushes that I/we already have. And NARS is releasing Dolce Vita blush. And I really like the look NARS is currently promoting. It's very CoCish.

Ahhhh I want all three quads....really...really...BAD! I think this is the most excited I've ever been about a MAC LE Collection, but then, I'm just a little dramatic maudlin girl at heart

I'm actually getting to the point where I want all three quads. I can't skip the Tempting quad because of the Sharp eye shadow, unless the texture or pigmentation is poor. I need the Spiced Chocolate quad, because it isn't whispering "Fall" in my ear, but screaming it. And Shadowy Lady has Smudged Violet. Please, dear jebus, let one of these quads be flawed somehow, so I can skip it.

I'm actually nixing the Tempting quad from my list, I think. I have no use for quads, really...I mean the colors in that one look nice, but because they're stuck in the quad I know I'll forget about them and regret getting it.

Please let me remember this when I go for my Cult of Cherry haul-I need to save my money

I'm definitely still down for some of those lipglasses though!!
