Well, using my scientific method (which was developed at M.I.T. and patented), I would say that on a scale of 1-10 (10 being a MAC Whore), that you are at about an 8.93. That rates you in the MAC Tramp level.

I know, I know, it is a very complex system that is very difficult to understand. I kept a team of M.I.T. grad students locked in a basement for 5 years to develop it. Powered on nothing but Hot Pockets, coffee and Ripped Feul, this is what those hard-working little nerds came up with. I will post a graphic shortly to explain it all.

Hey I'm new to Mac, and I was wondering how long collections typically last before they sell out. I made an order this morning for So Scarlet & Lightly Ripe, but I want to get the CoC l/g before its gone and maybe a blush. Will it still be around in say, a month?

I am sure many items from the CoC collection will be sold out earlier than a month. If you really want a LE product, I recommend not to hesitate too long... This collection seems to be very popular!

As I stated yesterday, I had to have the CoC yesterday! Stopped by the MAC store on my way home and I must say.... WOW!!!

I can't remember the last time I was so impressed with a collection! I had to refrain myself from purchasing the entire collection. But I still ended up with:

Spiced Chocolate Quad
Shadowy Lady Quad
Plum du Bois Blush
So Scarlet l/s
Lightly Ripe l/s
Cherry Blossom l/g
Rich & Ripe l/g
Cult of Cherry l/g
Jampacked l/g
Kirsch Mattene
Rapturous Mattene

And I will most likely go back for Liquer l/g, which surprises me - I don't own anything quite like it but it really looked beautiful over ALL the darker lippies of the collection. I tried it on over Kirsch and it was HOT HOT HOT! I might go back for Bing too because WOW so stunning. The MA who helped me was wearing Chockful & it looked awesome on her, but that was the only lippie I was sure I could pass on.

Plum du Bois is not muddy at all on me & I'm NC25. Its a gorgeous plummy mauve shade with a bit of gold frost, but not too overly so. I don't have any blushes like it, so I grabbed it. Blooming, on the other hand, did not show up on me. So sad because it looked so pretty in the pan.

And all the lippies in the collection are gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous. I could write a 28903478967 page review on them all, but instead, I'm just going to stare at them...

Audrey, ya know I think it is *both* the Kirsch and the purples that are making your eyecolor pop! Good for you for trying the darker lippies. I just love Kirsch and Bing so much I'm thinking about backups.

Awww, audrey thanks! I am so not a blush person usually but I was so amazed at the combo swirled together on the apples of my cheeks. Le sigh, the CoC will be the end of me for sure.

Damn, I am going to have to carry a list with me to MAC just to keep up with ev1's suggesstion:

Check out Diva l/s, Velvetella(everyone agrees), goes with lippies

Shale and Mauvement(go to Mac online, look up face and do that(I have both e/s),

Check out Bitter e/s with Lucky Jade,

Kirsh and Bing are the bomb

Swatch PopMode and Jampacked (have PopMode, to rule it out)

Pigments are a must (Blonde's Gold, Heritage Rouge and Antiqued
green)

So Scarlet with CoC on top,

CoC is a beautiful red/pink, It usually is, no matter what color the package, they are always beautiful.
Realize that Heritage Rouge and Copperbeam are the pigment forms of Spiced Chocolate, do not get swayed by the pretty quad. DO NOT!!!

Make sure to hide receipt/bag from husband, so he can't say in a whiny voice" I thought you weren't buy anymore makeup for a while", so the cops won't need to be called when you strangle him for reminding you.

Check. Check. Check, am I missing anything?

I think so too. It could be the blue shirt I am wearing too. I really do love Kirsch though, and I am so glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone. I agree that it's back worthy!

The end of me too I fear. Usually, once I see a collection, I buy what I know I can't live without, and leave other things that I am unsure about. I think about them for a few days, and normally, the lemming for them goes away and I move on to the next collection. But CoC has me wanting more, and every time I turn around, I am adding another thing to my list of things I grab as soon as I have the extra cash. Totally not a norm for me, but this collection is fabulous.

Honestly, this was the only thing I got yesterday that I could live without. I got it through B2M, so I didn't put out any cash for it, but I probably wouldn't have bought it. It is pretty, but not very unique. I'd definately go for the other lippies on your list before this one. It's just not that special in comparison to the other colors in this collection, IMO.

i think i'm the only person who was disappointed with the collection. I didn't even find 1 thing that I want to buy, I'm just too pale for all the dark shades i suppose!

actually i was thinking about the spide chocolate quad, but when i swatched it all the colors looked really dupable
