Have you separated the pinks into warm and cold colours? Pleasantry has gold shimmer. I skipped the whole Sonic Chic collection because of the gold-pigments there in. Maybe it didn´t work because it was too warm? Often for pale girls the cooler colours suit them better; or at least neutral, but nothing "obviously" warm.. especially when your dark hair is the original colour, plus the pale skin, maybe gold_ish tones are not for you.

Edit: for some pale girls it even looks best when the blush is brighter (and cold) pink than just pale (warm) rose, which washes them out. It depends, of course, but sometimes the thing you didn´t think of could be just right. At the moment, L'Oreal has this Blush Delicieux in Pale Marshmallow (no 1) in case you need a colour for reference - sorry, that´s just the one coming to my mind right now as explanation. MACs Pink Swoon is also a bit like that.

No, whenever I put my makeup on I always wear a grey t-shirt and pull my hair up in a clip. I forgot to remove it!

Hi girls, maybe you can help me. I was out last night working my Spiced Chocolate look, ( not as good as when my MA did it), and my makeup buddy told me I need to do more with my upper lip. Like plump it up, and define it more. I have So Scarlet l/s, and Cult of Cherry l/g. I need advise on a lip liner. Last week my MA used "Burgandy" to line, and it looked good, but I was just looking for any other suggestions. I am a NW35, by the way.

I think it depends on your eye color, skin tone, etc.. which one do you have the least amount of colors similar to and which do you think would fit you best?

I wear Currant liner with Rapturous, which is similar to So Scarlet. If you want a deeper tone, Vino would be pretty as well.

So I went to the mall to pick up a pair of tights for my daughter at Gap, and it's like right next to my MAC counter.

Everyone here is in love with Blooming, so I thought I go check out what all the hype is about. One swipe, and I gasped. It's so gorgeous. I tried Plum du Bois, and while it's so pretty... I'm pretty happy with my x-rocks for now. (Even though there is a big difference.) So Blooming came home with me. Thank you to all the enablers here who recommended it!!!

Another thing I checked out was the Tempting quad, and Sharp is GORGEOUS. I have the color from C-Shock that everyone's comparing it to (is it eyepopping) and if my memory serves me right, I don't think they are anything alike. I have to run up to my room to check it out though to be sure. I didn't pick the palette up because I can't justify buying it for just that color... I was very tempted though!

I think I finally bought everything from CoC that I wanted. Oh, the only thing I forgot to check out was liqueur l/g... I have all of the other lipglasses from CoC.. btu wanted to see this one in person. I guess I was so overwhelmed by Blooming, I totally forgot.

I say judging from your picture, that Spiced Chocolate would look fantastic on you.

Tempting would look good on your too, but it's hard for me to use Tempting Quad as much as Spiced Chocolate. It's less everyday you know?
