PP is more of a mauve color and SW is a reddish purple and on my arm they are not even remotely close.

Just joined I have been a lurker here everyday since 2012, never thought to join I first came here to find what my son ( who passed away) found so interesting here. he wanted to be a MUA and this was a site he visited everyday.

Since coming here I now have what you can call a makeup collection I was never a makeup buyer my makeup consisted of those freebies that you get from macys , dillards when you spend x amount so I would time my skin care purchases around these free gifts.

anyway I just joined because I was reading the threads about e-bay and realized how a lurker could be viewed.

I think this place is great I have learned so much and I think this is a great site. Specktra should get commission from Mac cause all the excitement you guys create sure makes you feel like you need to buy all the collections.

anyway I am not Technologically savvy, but I come here before I buy any makeup and not only Mac. I just purchased my first Dior, Guerlain, and now Chanel just because of pictures and conversation I saw on this site.

which I don't think I ever would have purchased if not for the opinions of people here.

If coming here were not so easy I don't think I would have found this special place.

Thanks. I decided to sit out the collection, cute packaging and all...and looking at the swatches, I'm still not wowed. More money for things like Sephora's F&F sale.

I want Nars Train Bleu, Hourglass Trio, Laura Mercier holiday palette and Nars Bourdain collection.They're worth the money.

A big welcome! I am so very very sorry for your loss. Your precious son must have enjoyed the love of the art of makeup like all of us. Hopefully you can find some comfort & friendship here. And, maybe we can make you laugh a few times along the way.

That's my main issue with keyboard gangstering. So much mouth behind a keyboard, but would probably never say that to someone's face. It's fine I guess to think whatever you think about someone but feel like everything you think doesn't need to be said... or in this case typed. Sometimes it's ok to not say anything.

Agreed. I can't afford the amount of products some people on here buy, especially with the Euro MAC prices, so for me it's not true that I spend $50 or more on every collection. In fact, I skip most collections. IMHO a fee of $25 or even $50 would not be realistic. There should be another solution.

I completely re-arranged my order, knocked off some DN items and added a few Nars blushes! I am so antsy. Maybe I will change it back again on Thursday, who knows.

I'm trying to skip this collection completely, I want to place a nice big order with Sephora (with like 2 nars blushes plus the fpreplay palette) and finally use my UD pro account and get some of those recolution lippies. Just the few swatches I've seen has me considering stopping at a counter one of these days though
