I posted this on my blog, but I thought I'd share these here as well.

EE was too gray for me. FFF was too light. YGI was nice, but I didn't like how dry it looked and felt. PFP and PP... I love love love!

And here's a comparison of Nude (left) and EE (right).

You are NC35 like me and I like EE

PP I like too. FFF, PFP didnt like.
Do you like Nude on You?

So I quickly slapped some on so everyone can get an idea of how they look on the skin (NW15 for reference).
Top pic is blush (applied heavily to bring color out better in pic, and overtop of small vanity which I tried to wipe off with a tissue) and lipstick
Bottom pic blush lipstick and lipglass
i'll try and do an actual look with this set tmrw. I'm excited cause I actually really like everything in it!

Thank you! If you have a chance to check out the set in person, do it. The blush is on the light side but it is very pigmented, you may need a few layers but I think it would show up.
Thanks for the swatches!  They look lovely on you.  Do you think these would be too light for NC35?

have you tried soft and gentle MSF? its such a gorgeous powder highlight! I swatched Perfectly Poised and it is gorgeous.
I haven't tried that one, but have that on my list too! It's probably more subtle than Gold Deposit?? The only highlight I have is Improper Copper and I want to try something new. I have heard that MAC Trace Gold is nice too. I want something nice and golden. I didn't get to swatch Perfectly Poised because I was in a rush. Maybe I should go back and try them all!

I got the set and love it! ( More pictures linked in my sig) I'm NC13/NW15 I believe, and to quote my husband, I love how it "pops" thanks to how pasty pale I am lol :)

Me too! :) When all else fails it always comes through. Its just the perfect pink. It goes with everything. Let me know how it goes ;)
Oh Venus is the one lippie I reach for the most! It's my go-to! I think I'll wear it to the MAC store and layer YGI on top and cross my fingers I don't "need" it! But judging by your pic, I will! UGH! Thanks for sharing your pretty combo!! I have the Sigma version. It honestly never occurred to me that there might be an alternative out there! I knew there were rubber gloves but didn't even think about a gardening glove having texture! I like the Sigma glove for the textured surface. But obviously these ladies have found great alternatives for cheaper. So, I'd say try one of those unless the adorableness of the Sigma version with it's super cute colors thrills you! I'm kinda silly like that. I like pretty, gimmicky stuff. I'm a sucker for it. So I like my Sigma version a lot. But if it were to fall apart, I wouldn't rush to replace it without trying a cheaper version.... HTH I got mine too! MUST try it out! Could you pretty please do a comparison of the VV version and this repromote? Thanks hun! You look so pretty... as always! You rock the statement lip! I agree! I'm definitely going to pair VV with Nightmoth too! If I'm going to wear that shade, I want it as VAMPY as I can get it! And Nightmoth is the recipe for that!!

I DO think that if you're NC30 with golden undertones, you MUST at least test Lavish Living at a store. It's so beautiful and you've got a perfect skin tone for it and the majority of this collection's products! You might go crazy for COA and STBS too!
Thanks, I think shall at least check it out before dismissing it. I am actually tempted by STBS (will get either that or Lavish Living) but I already have Rio and Petticoat. It is so hard justifying it to myself... Yes yes I know, STBS is like those two times a gajibillion but still, considering that I only owned Redhead and Mocha blush 6 years ago and used the heck out of them everyday for a year.... I am getting to the point where I feel guilty I actually forget what blushes and MSFs I have and to use them.
As promised! Night to Remember (Stroke of Midnight), Love Goddess (Marilyn), Prepare for Pleasure (Divine Night), Just a Bite, Blood Red (DSquared), Cockney.
Thank you!! That really helps! It looks like it is the closest to Just A Bite and that is good news because I completely skipped that one because of its satin finish.

Soft and a Gentle is not like Gold Deposit. It is more on the beige side so you might not like it as a golden highlight. I know I was looking for something like that too, and I ended up swapping away my soft and gentle. It didn't do much on my skin. A golden highlight I like a lot is Sun Rush lustre drops and Double Definition EDSF (the bottom half) which is like Whisper of Gilt. Hope that gave you a few ideas!

All I really wanted from this collection was YGI, and mine still hasn't gotten here yet. I am crossing my fingers that it comes in the mail today.

Have you looked at Blue Flame MES? I love how you get different shades of blue and silver depending on where you put your brush. To make the colour really pop, you can use a darker base under it.

The collection still isn't out here, I'm still on the fence about what to get, but I'm interested in: - flair for finery - private party - prepare for pleasure? (Getting into reds...) - raven and Orpheus eyeliners - Past midnight MES - guilded night MES - tonight's temptation (but not the last two eyeshadows together, too much black)
