How weird!! Sounds like sometime that would happen to me. I recently just had a lunatic accost me as I was getting my daughter from school. People in this area has a tenancy to park ridiculously. Just park over the line, or totally crooked. It's frustrating to say the least when parking is scarce. So here I am, parked 1 inch from the curb, nice as you please and some old lady drives by, rolls down her window and stops to yell at me: "You park terrible!!!!" Well, she yelled it at me in German, then they I told I don't speak German, she yelled at me again in English. I looked at my car, checked my tires and their proximity to the curb and I really couldn't figure out what the deal was. Oh well.

Pop over to France, they have the Pumpkin Spice Latte here. Tried it last weekend, my boyfriend says that it is pretty much regular latte with whipped cream and some pumpkin spice powder sprinkled on top.

Starbucks uses very sweet syrups in their flavored drinks. If it were only what you describe, i could drink it. But all their flavored stuff is waaaaaaay too sweet for me.

I'm beyond pissed right now.. I got a MSG this morning from mac saying private party is sold out !! And that it was sold out when I ordered it .. FIRST OFF I ordered on SUNDAY! Launch night.. There's no fuxking way it was already sold out on the CANADIAN site when it didn't even sell out on US til the next day or so and on Canadian a few days later.. And how the fack did they not call me until today 4 days later????!? So mad never had any such problems with Canadian mac ;@:&

This happened last year to me with Innocence from Glamourdaze! I ordered the minute it came up and it was OOS when they shipped mine. I wondered if they had got any at all. I had to call STC MAC and have them hold one for me, and had someone drive me down to get it. Pain in the butt!

It stayed posted for 2 days later and didn't say sold out til Tuesday I believe ... I'm sure there are people who got theirs that ordered after mine . I think they fuxked up cause it's now Thursday , usually my order would have shipped by the next business day (Tuesday) I'm so annoyed

PleasantMacabre, I'm really sorry to hear about the colossal MAC @#$! up with your order. I don't even know how that happened when you paid for it 4 days ago. This whole time I've been on Specktra, I've been thinking, "MAC Online US, why can't you be more like MAC Online Canada?!!"

I hope they make it up to you somehow or scrounge a new Private Party lipstick up for you.

I swore I wasn't getting any of the face products because of the horrible reviews. I was only going to haul lip products. Like you said, you gotta see how everything looks on your skin and not someone else's swatch. Buffing the MSFs and MBs definitely yielded a different look than a straight arm swatch. I just used plain ol' 109 and the mineralize face products seemed to meld with my skin. Glad I listened to you...

Just got Flair for Finery ls & on me, it looks like a slight paled pinked Riri nude ls.

Its much paler/nude than I thought it would be but I still like it.

I've had this happen too - and always over a holiday weekend. I finally got my Glamourdaze order but it took AGES to get to me. I ordered Heroine the second it hit and then got the message you just did. I called in, and once they got more in a few days later they reached out to say they'd held one for me. They aren't open on the weekend and tend to close early on Fridays before long weekends. When they don't open until Tuesday, I think their system is so far over capacity that inventory counts get wonky. If there's a launch over the weekend, look out.

I know this is frustrating; since I think MAC Canada is the best, I'm a bit forgiving of their very occasional screw-ups. If you call in, they may be able to make it right. Otherwise, I think you could probably still get the lippie from a store or the Bay since it just launched today. Hope you've already been able to do that - sorry this happened to you.

im about an N-something 42 and i use the deep dark and dark msf to contour and med drk to set all over. as far as a highlighter my faves are soft n gentle (or blonde) in a pinch and whisper of guilt and/or superb (LE)

Thanks love! I have to see if I can track those down and check them out. I just left the MAC counter where I swatched and tried on the Perfectly Poised MSF from Divine Nights and it was GORGEOUS I think I'm going to get that one as my first one.

Got my pp and fff l/s today everything should come by sat... BUT my fff tube just keeps turning and turning. I kno its minor the lipstick looks ok in the tube but its annoyin because u think ur turnin it down and its just keeps turning. I don't want my l/s to break off. I'm callin them tomorrow for a replacement! I'm not playing with MAC! WILL POST PICS ONCE I GET EVERYTHING!!

Now that I've had a chance to play with my goodies, I'm back to gush.

I really like Private Party, but it's straight up plum on me. Absolutely no purple there. It reminds me a lot of Amorous; I swatched them side by side and Amorous is a bit redder (Del Rio browner). Great office colour for the fall.

I'm loving Perfectly Poised; I applied the two colours swirled with my trusty 159 along my cheekbone (I always keep a good distance away from my nose though). It gave a gorgeous light bronze sheen. I added Prism blush and buffed up against it. Gorgeous.

I now have 8 open fluidlines; mine are stored in a double row on their sides in my organizer. They roll around as I take one from the bottom and I think that's kept them nice and moist. None of them have even the slightest hint of dryness, and some are now two years old. I love S&S. I'm wearing it along my lower lash line now, with Mystery along the top line.

I am looking FINE, if I do say so myself.

I remember the Glamourdaze order not arriving until the Friday. I was pissed off I wasn't told the lipstick was sold out until the morning the order arrived because I had been at the Bay Thursday to check out the rest of the collection and I could have picked it up then!

Exclusive Event isn't a dupe for Nude. If I had missed Nude and had to settle for EE I would not be a happy camper. I bought it and I like it, but I would prefer to wear it with a liner. It's not as warm or wearable on my skin as Nude. It kinda looks like pigeon poo on me alone. I got my beloved You've Got It cremesheen glass. I'm almost out of my original so I'm glad it came back. I also got You've Got It lipstick. It's really pretty, but the frostiness makes me feel like I can't wear it alone. Thinking of things to use with it. Will probably layer it with other lipsticks. Oh and Mac didn't have the red lipstick or EE. I had to go to Nordstroms to get EE and see the red. The MUA at Mac said they just didn't get it in the shipment. :dunno: For some reason I am having strange interactions with other Mac customers on launch day. I walk in right behind a woman and she's standing square in front of the display. So I go off to the side and reach over for whatever she's not holding, obviously and she looks at me like I just snatched her purse. Oh, is this a waiting line. hboy: And I guess in some effort to cockblock me she gave the MUA the items she wanted from the display. Either that or she's incapable of remembering product names. This entire time she's glancing over at me. We check out at the same time and she's looking over at me still. Then, when we walk out, she's a couple of steps behind me but she puts great effort in to pick up her pace so that she can surpass me, while still looking back at me!! :lol: People, man.

Lol same thing happened to three of the retro matte lippies I ordered. Yes not a big deal but it is super annoying. Glad your calling!

It just makes no sense that I ordered Sunday night after it launched .. Nothing ever sells out that fast on the Canadian site ... And the fact it took until today for them to call me about it .. Sighhh! My closest mac is an hour away otherwise I would have been there today.. Couldn't find anyone to drive down with me

Ugh, that's so messed up Mac mucked up big time with your order.
And wtf? They close their customer service lines down for meetings?

They really need to hire some more people. Come to think of it, I usually always get Grace when I call in for anything. The last time it was for RiRi Fall and she sounded all frazzled and tired, poor thing.

I really hope they find some more in the back of their warehouse because what they did is not right! Check the time stamp on your email order confirmation and question them on their sold out excuse.
