I was wondering about the similarity, so I actually wore Hipster yesterday when I went to shop. Colour-wise, they are quite close. I find Hipster a little warmer and redder, but definitely close. However, the finishes are totally different (which is just weird, because technically, they have the same finish.) Hipster applies almost like a matte. It's super-pigmented and runs dry, which makes it great for more severe, classic looks. Cunning is super-moist and sheerer (although it builds nicely) and it gives the lips a nice juicy berry look. So despite the similarity of colour, they look quite different when worn.

My computer is down at the moment and I'm waiting for my new one to be ready. I'll post comparison swatches as soon as I'm fully back up and running (and not posting from my work computer or my phone).

Definitely. I find them different enough in tone and finish to justify having both if you're a fan of dark lips. Kittenish runs a little warmer. I've heard it compared to Media, but I'd actually say it's closer to Underground (although not quite as warm as that). Cunning didn't run streaky on me at all. It felt like a lustre, so it required a little build-up to become totally opaque, but it looked fine with a light application as well.

I'm wearing Kittenish today (with the LL quad colours) and one co-worker already stopped in my office to tell me she loved my makeup.

*Ditto*

Actually thinking, i'll swap the Liner for a Pigment instead and get 1 lippy and one Pigment.

Thanks a lot for the comparison.

I am not sure if I want to get Kittenish instead, as I am not a friend on Cremesheens. But someone mentioned that Kittenish swatches like a Lustre, as does Cunning. So I will try them both and see which one I like best.
Thanks again, I hope you get your computer back up soon, I would be dead without mine.

The more I see swatches of LL quad, the more I'm disappointed with the "black" veluxe pearl. It is pretty colour, but it is not black, it's brown.

And I wanted a true black veluxe pearl (gimme that too in starflash). I want! LL is slowly dropping off my list.

But oh boy those PP gloss tubes looked incredibly pretty next to each other. Too bad they aren't that special alone on lips, but I could look the tubes together forever. Prettiest glosses paired up ever!

FF is not the one that looks like Club, Burmese Beauty in the Burmese Beauty quad looks like Club. This one is like a dark brown veluxe pearl. I think its pretty, cause the color has depth with it having a veluxe pearl finish. Notoriety and colors like it always make for good overlays to put on other colors. Its my least favorite in the quad, but its rare that I love all the colors in the MAC quads anyway. 3 outta 4 is not bad.

I think LL is a good one to have. I am off to swatch it today, can't wait to see. I will post a pic.

The more I look at this collection.. the more I don't really want anything.. It all looks really pretty.. but it wouldn't really suit me.. I think I might end up just getting one lipglass at this rate!

My list changed again!

- Of Royalty l/s
- Bloodline p/g and maybe Mauvement p/g (Christina from Temptalia said it is chunky. Is it true that is that chunky?

)
- Brown eyeliner.

Ty Lou! I guess I should go and swatch it first, but I am afraid that by the time I get out from work the day the collection launches, there will be no more Mauvement available, hehe.

I actually found Mauvement very chunky and this is in the new packaging. This was brand new out of the box. It's glitter galore and not as smooth as the other pigments in this collection. In fact, I can blow off the little chunks of particles off my hand.

Mine is in OJ jar too, and honestly, it is a bit chunky compared to some pigments, like vanilla, sweet sienna, or blonde's gold. But it's not as bad as Steel Blue or Rose pigment. So i would say that it doesn't have the best texture but not the worst either

well they must have changed the formula. mine is from 2007 or 2008 i think and is no where near as chunky as what others are saying. what a shame
