Me neither. I'm starting to get more and more excited about the pigments in this collection.

I'll be very sad if I'll miss Mauvement and starting to feel the same about Bloodline and maybe old gold + antique green. I've got a sample of Mauvement and have been saving it because I don't want to run out of it.

My plans to buy only mauvement are now officially changed because I'm also starting to get excited also about the PP quad and Pet Me blush. I'll get one of two l/s as B2M, but haven't decided yet which ones. I'm still going to skip the lip glosses and the liners (they all look lovely, but I never use anything else but black liner).

I really can't affort to get this much from this collection even if I'll get the lippies as B2M. I think I need to grow a back bone very fast and stick to my original plan.

yes, BB (not FF) looks like club, but think i actually like it better than club. even tho its a lustre, its a really good lustre!

I hear ya girl I have the same problem! I hate when I think something will look great on me but I get it in the mail and it looks horrid aka. Riveting from the Riveting coll earlier this year. And I dont want to deal with shipping them back
So I rely on everyones opinions and swatches

Love Mauvement! I bought it with the first release and I think I use this pigment the most.

Did anyone compare Lap of Luxury to Purple Rage yet?

The collection releases a day after my birthday so hopefully I will have a little extra birthday money to spend on this collection and the VV collection.

On my list so far:
-Lithe (went to Nordies and she gave me a sample of it to try on my lid... it is absolutely gorgeous. It goes on so smooth and just makes my eyes pop. Seems like a grab and go color. Love it)
-Bloodline
-Utterly Game (This may become my HG blush. MUA put a little bit of it on my cheeks and it gave me a gorgeous glow).
-Defiantly Feline, Smoky Heir Liner, and the black liner (can't remember the name of it at the moment). I have super oily lids and after the MUA put it on my eyes it seemed to stay put pretty well. I've only had it on for a few hours so I am going to wait and see.

At first I was iffy about this coll but am getting so excited for it!

Aristo-Cat l/s & Pet Me Please l/s- OMG they are both gorg!

At first the discriptions both sounded simular to me but after swatches look completely different. These are the two I'm most excited about. PMP is so awesome with its frosty goodness! It almost looks metallic in a way. If I recieve it and its too frosty I can always stick a l/g over it to tone down the frostiness. AC is about as dark as I will go for now. Everytime a get a darker lippy without swatching it in person it ends up looking bad on me. So I dont want to take that chance right now. And it is such a beautiful color and wont overwhelm my pale skin and dark hair. Plus I loved fresh salmon but it was just not for me, so this one is more down my color alley.

Spree l/g- It hopped on my list last minute after seeing tempalia swatches. It will compliment the pigment color on my lips well. And it's such a beautiful color! A nice color change for me, but still have that shimmer and frost I love

Liquid Lurex l/s- It is such a unique color. And I love shiny/shimmery lips (I love dazzleglasses) sometimes glosses can start start to put a strange consistancy on my lips, so the lipstick form seems it would on stay better on my lips.

and lastly Lithe Pigment- another hop on the list. Everyone seems give great reviews on it and I need to add a nudeish piggy to my ever growing pigment collection


-I was going to get Best of Breed l/g, but the big reason I wanted to get it was to put over Violetta l/s I was going to get from VV. but I dont plan on wearing it too often. Def not an everyday l/s. BOB just isnt something i'd reah for too often
-I wanted Out-Minxed too but it and Liquid Lurex are too simular even though thier different finishes
-I was going to add a liner but I'm running out of coverup. WAIT....I just looked at the mac site and it says the mineralize spf15 NC20 is sold out. Is it only temp? Do they just have to restock them? God I hope so
-The quads just dont wow me. Esp at 36 bones a pop. I can always build my own palettes with perm colors. I only get LE mac shadows if I REALLY want them.

So $77.50 if I dont get my foundation. Not bad!

I might have to sneak a liner on there after all...... or two

Sorry about my long post but I am just so excited!! I know I've said this a lot lately but I really do love it here on Specktra. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You are all so helpful and are amazing people. Not to mention share my love of makeup. I dont have any friends that are into it as much as me.

People ask me why I love it so much. You are the only ones that understand

don't worry, its perm. when this came out, it was the only shipment we got at our counter. we aren't expected to be restocked until september. we only have a handful (maybe 7?) of colours in stock. its sad.

singer82: Yeah, I used to run into the same thing all the time! I'd order things based on the MAC website swatches/color descriptions and then get so disappointed when I got them and they looked like crap on me!

Thanks to all the great folks here at Specktra, though, I find this has been happening to me a lot less frequently. I love getting to see a few different swatches and hear people's comments and reviews on everything before I buy, it's a hugeee help! Thanks so much everyone!

P.S. I'm glad to hear you're excited about your latest haul, I'm sure you'll love everything!!!

Your description of this pigment just excited me more!!! I was hoping it would show up more grey/gunmetal instead of brown anyways so i'm glad to hear that but i'm NC20 so we'll see! Sorry you didn't like it but it sounds like you did a major fun haul! Can't wait to see swatches!!!!

I finally made it to the store today, but only after stopping by a brazilian place and getting some Guaraná.

My small FF haul:

From left to right: Wildly Refined l/g, Drive Me Wild l/s, Aristo-Cat l/s and Antique Green p/g.

I didn't feel overwhelmed by the collection (thankfully!), but it is a very nice one.

Furiously Fabulous is a beautiful, dark brown the reflective qualities from the veluxe pearl finish, really gives it the umpf it needs. When I think of Veluxe Pearls, I never think of anything on the dark side. Most of the popular ones are light. This one is different because it is dark. I keep saying how much I love this quad, but one thing I want to note, I feel like its going to be a challenge to use these colors together. They seem like they will work better alone or with other colors I have already. The idea may have been to copy an ocelot, but I don't know. I know the point of a quad is to merge them together, but this quad has too many standouts. When I get my quad, I will have to see! I only pulled Burmese Beauty for the color Burmese Beauty. Its Club, but with more green. If you like this color, you can dupe it... I usually make Club more green with Freshwater; or if you have Club, and are getting Antique Green, mix them and you will probably get the Burmese Beauty e/s. Two colors in the Palace Pedigree quad are really Nehru and Sketch. The color Quite Spoiled is the one that is different, but not really worth the whole quad if you have the other two. I was excited to see the Bloodline pigment, but on me it swatched more grey, almost gunmetal than brown. I'll pass. On to the lipsticks and glosses that I liked. My favorite was Cunning. Its a deep purple with red flecks in it. Its NOT really frosty and goes on smooth (maybe, the glitter makes them call it a frost). I had no problems with it, and I am getting 2. I have been waiting for a while for MAC to do something like this for a while. Kittenish is a little lighter than Cunning. Drive Me Wild is frosty, and swatched on my hand, it reminds me of the Melon pigment. of course its going to be darker/different on alot of people, but that is how it shows up on me. The Prowl is a beautiful brown. Its not a flat dull brown as there are flecks of red-orange in there. Very WOC friendly, so I am getting 2, also. Lap of Luxury was my favorite gloss. Its more purple than anything on me. Very Pretty. Fancy Cat is an interesting brown. It does look like Chai, but more intense, and darker. Its a straight up cool color. It really looks like it should be an eye color. Jealous and Best of Breed are the green and the blue ones. Great lip glosses to layer with. I like Best of Breed best, but I don't feel like either of them are have to haves right away. The blushes, lol. I did not even take a gander. They are are light and uninteresting and dupeable. This is strictly an eyes and lips collection. In my opinion, they could have just did away with the blushes and focused on pushing some of their existing blushes. Overall, I liked alot of what I was looking for, mostly items I would consider staples in my collection. Those go toos that I don't have to fuss over when I don't feel like getting made up. Or those colors that I can pull out and jazz up.

Great review. I just got the new issue of Allure today with Kim K on the cover and it has convinced me to buy a liquid liner from this collection. I will try to rock the liquid liner b/c I do like the look of liquid liners, but I am not the most graceful person. I'll learn. The problem is picking a color b/c I have just about every color in pencil form. Maybe Treat Me Nice.

I think I'll go ahead and get LL. I pulled out my Photorealism Quad yesterday and fell in love with it again. I need another quad and this one seems like the best bet. I'm not really interested in the lippes b/c I have so many, but I will look into Cunning.

And noooo don't tell me that about Bloodline. I want it so bad. I want it to look a bit plum on me like everyone else's swatches. Thta's the one thing I really want since I already ordered DMW lipstick and Lithe pigment.

Yeah, that's the one I meant. I can never keep names straight in my head, especially when it comes to quads. I'm not interested in Prized or Skintone 2 and I already have Showstopper, so I'm gonna pass.

its more of a satin-ish finish. its not super shimmery, but its not matte. these 3 MBs have less shimmer than the perm ones.

Oh thank goodness! Well I hope I have enough for right now and I got a lil moisture blend left too. I could just get studio tech but it kind of looks egh on my dry skin. Esp here in Colorado when it statrs to get cold. Yeah NC15 & 20 are the only ones sold out... damn
