MAC Fabulous Felines Discussion

I too have skipped the blushes in this collection since I'm waiting on Bite of An Apple from VV. I have been on a blush kick lately and it's not even funny. From this collection, is Pet Me Please l/s worth it? When I saw it at my MAC store, it reminded me of both Madly Creative and Beigeland lipsticks.

As much as I look forward to Venomous Villains - what a pity this collection will be past soon again!! I have waited so long for Fabulous Felines and still love it.

I can't believe I wanted so many products from this collection, including all 3 quads at the beginning when we got the info...then it went down to 2...then 1...then none. All I got was Bloodline, even though Mauvement and Docile were also on my list

I'm glad I didn't see anything in person or I'd fall in love with more stuff that I can't have, including the blushes, lol.

Absolutely agree. I'm still wearing the products pretty much every day because I find I can do so many looks with them. At the moment, I'm actually wearing a combination of FF and VV products... Mauvement + French Quarter = very nice and slightly unusual smoky eye.

I adore everything I bought from this collection (and need more liners) but here in N. California, it's still 80 degrees and I just haven't been able to wear much of it, mainly my Leopard Luxe stuff... I can't believe we move so quickly onto other collections before I can even really use this stuff

My Cunning lipstick & PP quad just don't look so great with my short-shorts & halter tops... My TTB stuff is just so much better matched with my summer outfits. I've been able to use my darker stash for evenings but I'm just not ready to put the bronzers away, but as soon as the temp reachers 65 or below, I'll put away my oranges & corals for my reds & purples.

i love my two purchases: bloodline and lithe. bloodline is so pretty, i am getting obsessed with pigment, but all of my pigments, apart from one, are all in the new jars, and now im starting to get anal about by stash having one particular pigment size argh!

it happens to us all! i am annoyed that most of my piggies are old chubby ones and i have 3 little new style ones... they just don't look right together!

oh, don't get me started on that again. i'm storing all the "new pigments" in a separate box. i'm convinced that mac doesn't want us to buy a lot of these. cuz with the old jars, you can store them up-side-down so you can still see the colors and the label even if you have a lot of them stored together. with the one ones, the lids are not flat enough to be stored up side down. so if you have a bunch of them, all you'll see is black lids.

i guess it doesn't affect me that much since i always make "samples" in 5g jars to use instead of directly from the original jars. but the thing really annoy me is that the lids of some of the new jars don't "click" close. and the latches are really the only thing keeping the lids on. i had a little spilling accident with lithe pigment because the lid wasn't latched on when i pulled it out of the box. so now i'm afraid of storing my pigment storage box side sideways or tilted

seriously i am still super bitter over the whole thing! i know loads of you guys are like 'just get the hell over it' but i really can't! and like you i have also had a little spillage due to the stoopid lids. and i hate with a passion the little insert discs! the chubby ones were big enough for me to grab. these piddly little things are so tricky. and my nails are a tad too long to grab the little flap bit. i will never forgive you for this mac!

I agree about the new pigment jars. When I first saw them in person, I was like I will only purchase the original ones at my CCO now on. I'm still hunting down Mauvement and Old Gold pigments in the 7.5g jar and hopefully that I'll find it soon. This collection is great but it's now I'm starting to think about getting some more things from this collection after I haul from VV.

When my friend picked up Bloodline and brought it to me I was like..did you get a sample?!?! I was seriously shocked, even though I had seen them on the display last year around Christmas. It looked too small to be true.

I am getting another Cunning for sure! Even thinking about hauling kittenish cause it was very pretty on, and I love the name!
