That sounds really nice, thanks for sharing.

I never got as dark of a color with the Penultimate as I wanted. No matter what, it seemed too dry.
On the Hunt is so dark, and a different ball of wax. I like it much better for doing more dramatic lining. And you can make the line thicker or thinner depending on how you apply it.
It took me a little longer to get the hang of using these liners. Not long, they were different from what I'd used before though.

Permanent dupes for the Burmese Beauty Quad

I am SO trying not to buy the Burmese Beauty quad. Especially since Burmese Beauty looks so close to Club, which I have. If I was to dupe the rest of the palette, which colours could I use?

I will have fond memories from collection b/c of the pigments. I have loved on Lithe, so much. The best neutral I have bought this year, it might be a tad to bit sparkly for my job, but whateva, rocking it anyway.

Bloodline has been my substitution for carbon, just a tad bid with a brown makes it less grey or purple. Loves it.

I do not like the twist lock top on the jars, just let me screw it on like the old jars. I feel like if the lock breaks will I be able to screw it on or will the top not screw on afterwards,

I sent the blushes back, I loved on the thought of them and when I got them, way too ordinary for my collection.

I keep thinking about the BB quad but I have time to debate this.

Re: Permanent dupes for the Burmese Beauty Quad

Prized: Shroom
Burmese Beauty: Club or Blue Brown pigment
Skintone 2: Goldmine is a bit more yellow, but it is close enough imo
Showstopper: Smut or any cool toned dark brown

They aren't exact ever, but close enough that you can get the same look.

Prized: Shroom or Modest Tone

Burmese Beauty: Club and layer some teal piggy under it OR use Delft under neath?

Skintone 2: Perhaps you could try Your Ladyship piggie? Or Gold Dusk? Or Jardin Aires? Phloof could work but isn't a close match

Showstopper: Smut is very close. Night Manouvres or Mineral or Magnetic Fields could be close cousins...

^^ agree on the pigments. I got a sample of bloodline and its GORGEOUS!! I tried it on at the store and it was blah, but this one is a sneaky lady.. looks different in diff lightings... lovely taupey/smokey brown under bright light... and the violety sheen shows thru in some other lightings... whoever said dirty under bloodline is rocking is spot on... these two together are sexy as hell.. I tried partylicious pigment over the lid and bloodline in the outer and crease (no way am wearing party by itself cos I am chicken),.. loved the blue/green/teal/taupe/brown/purple mix lol... also undercurrent as liner on top and dirty on the bottom lash

Whatever you're doing now, STOP and go to the Mac web site to order OTH. Seriously, it is the ULTIMATE black liner. It's deeper, slicker and easier to work with than any other liner. You will LOVE yourself for buying it. I can't recommend it enough.

I second this!

I put my penultimate into my Back2MAC bag immediately. OTH beats EVERYTHING!

You just sold me on undercurrent. Good it's coming back in Holiday. I usually stay from pearlglide because I wear contacts and the glitter can be a killer, if I get one in my eye.

I just ordered the Leopard Luxe quad. I am finally convinced of it's fall prettiness.

If you have the Leopard Luxe quad... is the gold really orangey or would it look okay on a cooler toned person? I don't live near a store and it's so hard to tell unless you can see them. Thanks!

I have LL and it is very wearable. I look better in cool colors and this one isn't too coppery or orange. I think if you pair it with other cool colors it will go cool toned. The other colors are very nice. Overall, definitely the colors lean warm but not blondorangeish

I caved with my VV order and got the BB quad.

I'm looking forward to it, but annoyed at myself! I saw this in person and thought it was really nice, but easy to dupe (and I already have 2 of the colors!). I just couldn't resist anymore. It's so handy to have it in a pre-made quad and all together for me. Plus, I actually think I like the Club-ish shade more than Club itself, so that's a bonus.

I love mine & don't care if its dupeable. It is a solid quad and you made a smart choice IMHO

I think I'm going to get the BB quad. I have to cave. I love Skintone 2. Hopefully it's still online Friday or at my local counter.

never!!

that's why i'm still transferring all of my new pigments into the old jars. my problem is that i HAVE to have the old plastic insert (cuz all my old ones still have em), and i'm not able to get ahold of em.
