MAC Fabulous Felines Discussion

I've decided that all I want is Drive Me Wild lipstick, Lithe and Bloodline pigments. Can't believe that's it. I gotta say, though I would like to see some swatches of the pigments first b/c I may scratch that, too. I'm pretty sure I want the lipstick, though b/c I am coral crazy.

Make up Arts kicked so much butt last year. Bummer.

^From the new swatches, I think Kittenish just jumped back on... Still... 2 things from a collection this huge isn't bad, if I do say so myself.

I'm also loving Bloodline. Not quite as purple-y as I had hoped, but I'm digging it, none the less!!!

I'm still in a total quandry over Kittenish vs. Cunning vs. Dark Deed vs. Sinister. ONE of these will be the best one for me, but there is just no way to tell until they've all touched my lips lol.

P.S. I still hope someone who's compared these to Hipster has some words of wisdom to bestow.

Lol...no problem. I will try and get pictures of them next time I go to the mall. I am disappointed because it's just not what I was expecting. They're not as small as the holiday set ones but the handle is shorter and thinner than the full size. I can't justify the cost for the brush...and the fact that it doesn't have it's own pouch makes it useless to me for travel...which is why I wanted it in the first place.

I still don't know what I should get from this collection. I thought Palace Pedigreed part looked cute when I saw the new swatches, but still I don't know.

I guess I'll find out at the counter. I wish they would come sooner. I just want to see them now!

I know what you mean. Those pouches are very handy for traveling.

Which other products did you like? I'm glad you had a chance to seem early.

I am a bronze, coral, neutral lover so I love the LL part of the collection. My makeup collection has grown exponentially since January 2009 so I am ONLY buying items that are unique to my collection. I'm becoming borderline hoarder...so I'm forcing myself to "shop my stash."

With that said...I love the LL quad (all of the quads are nice but I know I will only get regular use of the LL), Drive Me Wild l/s, Aristo-Cat l/s, Wildly refined l/g, Best of Breed l/g, Utterly game blush (depends on comparisons with Nuance and Warm Soul), Spree l/g (must compare to Young Thing l/g), and Schemer l/g (must compare to Gold Dust l/g).

The pigments are nice but I know I will not use them enough to justify the cost. I will probably get samples of Lithe and Antique Green.

As I stated before, I think the standout product of this collection are the new eyeliners. Since these are perm, I will buy these little by little...but I am in love with the grey one, the gold one, Signature Blue, Defiantly Feline, and the dark green one. ( Couldn't remember some of the names...lol).

regarding the liners.... i want the silver coloured one but is it actually pigmented? because i know that some silver gel liners / liquid ones i have had in the past have taken many layers to actually look silver!

I like the eyeliners also ... other than that, again I have samples of revised products (that means products which were changed in texture, colour, or name) and that will do me just fine...as for the SH brushes.. I pass. I love long handle brushes and have my personal brush travel pack (I cut these down to a smaller size with a saw) these should last me for a lifetime

(besides I have not had many pleasant experiences from the MAC SE/SH editions

as for the rest of the collection i'm eyeing the leopard luxe quad. although it kind of reminds me of the color 4 quad and some of the permanent shadows. any word on dupes for it?

btw, this is my favorite MA's face chart!!!

it will be featured on the mac site and i plan on creating it, so i probably will pick up most of the products!

yeah bloodline looks kinda crap in those swatches! if it does look like that i may get lithe instead! i am set on getting one new pigment! but bloodline was my first choice!

It seems just like my kind of color. Though, as I said before, I do hope it is slightly more purple in person.
