I just checked my tracking number from MAC & it says it won't arrive until Sept 1... if that's true, I'll never order off the website again, I could have had everything in my hand today but I didn't want to miss specific items

I probably won't get my stuff until after that since I haven't even gotten a tracking number.

Is ordering off the website always like this? It's the 1st time I've done it & it thought shipping would be a lot faster but now I know just to go to my counter when things launch

OK so I just got back and what I have in my bag hardly resembles what I wanted. The Palace Pedigreed quad was a pass. Two of the colors were nice...two were not. That said I ended up with two of the mineralized blushes. Pet Me and Utterly Game. I usually skip MBs because of the shimmer. The shimmer in these are so subtle they had to come home with me. Bloodlines pigment was unique enough to my collection that I had to get it. I ended up with 3 of the Superslick Liquid Liners, Signature Blue, Smoky Heir and Marked for Glamour. I can see myself running out to grab more of these. Thank God they are permanant! They dont move once set. However I didn't have much issue removing them with a few passes of a wipe. They sort of flaked off. Much less tugging and scrubbing than the Liquidlast liners.

That stinks that you have to wait but you probably did the right thing. You did not know you'd be able to have everything in your hand today - you played it safe. I did the same thing

I hope MAC is wrong on the date and you get it sooner!

Yeah, thanks. At least I can console myself that I have the quads, a liner & a lipstick in my hands to play with until the others arrive

For me, this is how it always is since I'm way out in the Southwest and it ships from MD. Even when I did overnight, it still took three days- thank god they refunded me for that.

From now on, I think I'm just going to reserve stuff at my counter. The reason I ordered online this time was b/c I wanted to use a GC, and I hate the store I have so online was more worth it.

At least you have a tracking number, mine hasn't even shipped yet. I didn't want to go to my counter because it is known for having everything that I want sold out during the first or second days of a collection release and I can't get there until Saturday because I have to take the train, making it a 3 hour trip. Usually the website is so much more timely! It processes and ships out the next day for me usually, I don't know what the hold up is!

I just used the Desires & Devices liner as I was complaining about shipping... semi-bad news- it's going to take awhile for me to use these perfectly... good news- the color is fantastic, the swatches online looked dirty & horrible but my mom suggested it at the counter this morning & I just wanted to try one

The color is a tarnished olive, this will be PERFECT with my greens/golds this fall- add my new military ankle boots & a studded jacket and I have a perfect military-trend outfit- I'm so happy (though believe me, one eye looks really good & the other is REALLY bad)

I'm so sorry, that's horrible. My number said my package had to be rescheduled so I wonder if the shipping issues are with MAC's end & not UPS. I shouldn't have done it online b/c my counter never sells out but it took me forever to get everything I wanted from TTB & I wasn't going through that again- so from now on I'll just mix & match- get need items from online & not-sure-ofs from the store

I was kind of let down by this collection. I did end up getting some goodies but not as much as my original list.
I ended up with:
Lithe pg
mauvement pg (so chunky but so pretty!!!)
Utterly Game bl
Palace Pedigree quad
Docile lg

I swatched Aristo-Cat vs Plum Dandy. Plum dandy was slightly frostier and browner on my hand. However on the lips it was a whole different story. Plum Dandy is a heck of a lot more wearable on me. Aristo cat shows up more bright mauvey-purple on my lips where plum dandy is more muted, frosty and brownish plum.

This collection has been nothing but a run around for me!

Waited all morning tuesday for it to get online when it got online only some items were coming up with the pro card discount not all called customer service she wasnt a help. So I called my local free standing store put my stuff on hold I called this morning 10am when they opened to pay so it would ship today and be here tomorrow the girl said let me call you back I knew 11am was the cut off for shipping so I called back at 11 after not recieving a call back and told her I had to go to work Id like to pay for my stuff that was on hold. She said Ma'am I don't have time for this can't I ring you out tomorrow I said well if it was done today it would be here tomorrow! She said I understand ill ring you out and call you back with a total she never did so I called her told her I called the pro phone line placed my order she could cancel my hold. I payed 10.00 more for overnight shipping missed the 11am deadline so my stuff won't be here till Monday but atleast its ordered.

Thank you. That's the one thing I kept forgetting to mention. It kinda grosses me out the way it just rolls up in little balls instead of ending up on said tissue or wipe. I mean it's not enough for me to dislike to product or not buy more, but the 1st time I was like "wtf?".

Yeah, I know. I was surprised. With my gel liner it just comes right off on the tissue I use. This liner, though, I guess b/c it's so liquidy, just sorta flakes or migrates when removing it. A small price to pay, IMO.

That's good you like it that much to not care about the weird way it removes. Can't wait to get mine if they're that awesome!

Okay, I finally took a look at the collection and here are my notes:

To Pamper: Looks almost exactly like Call My Bluff. I swatched them side by side and everything. To Pamper may be a tiny fraction of a shade cooler.

Schemer (The Jew in me in dying to call this "schmear"): A pleasant surprise. Sheer gold with sparklies for a day look. I'll consider this one, but I don't really NEED it.

Docile: Sheer pink. Pretty, but kinda vanished upon application.

Best of Breed: Decent substitute if you missed out on Comet Blue DG.

Palace Pedigreed Quad: I'm still on the fence about this. I love doing a rosy, smokey eye, but I have a rose e/s trio from Stila. However, this quad is much cooler toned, and clearly different. Not sure if it's worth the $$$ for me.

Eyeliners: Holy crap! If you love liquid eyeliner, these are a mega win. Once dry, they don't budge. The colors are super vivid and opaque. The gold one is just stunning. I might have to get it. The green one (Treat Me Nice) is also pretty, but is a bit more of a forest green than an emerald green to me, so I'm not 100% sold. I'm lousy with liquid liner anyway.

So what did I buy? Some Deborah Lippman nail polish in Bad Romance.

All I got was Lithe & Bloodline though it was just for collection purposes as they seem too neutral to actually be useful to me, as I like brights. I am on the fence about the eyeliners, but since they are perm I have time to decide. I am pretty happy with black chromaline in the pot, not the pencil, for the liquid look.
