Being the crazy cat lady that I am, I thought I would go nuts for this collection! But once swatches and the like came in, I find myself very unenthused for it.
I think this is the first MAC launch this year I wasn't in the store on launch day. I went by on the weekend and picked up a few things.

I was only planning on getting one of the eyeliners, but I bought a second one when I realized how little I was spending! (I had a return as well.) It's by far the least amount I've spent on a MAC launch so far all year.
On the bright side, I guess it's good. I have to watch my money this month to pay for my MRI next month (high-deductible health insurance plans are the pits
), so the less I spend now, the more I can save for the items I wanted from VV. Silver linings, silver linings....

bloodline pigment is what is expected. quite pretty but i think it will be best when foiled.
the liner (signature blue~) is my favourite item though! it's very pretty, i like the aplicater and it is pretty much waterproof! if you pat it dry when wet it stays on. but if you rub it, it will flake away

I'm glad you got your goodies! You waited long enough!
Seems like those liners are definitely not for me then, I tend to rub at my eyes :S

I wish it had that dusty nude pink on me -- I get a very light barbie pinky look with frost (but my lips are not red pigmented)... this just proves that lipsticks go hand in hand with body chemistry and pigmentation

I have the purple liner and the greenish gold one but I was looking at the blue one. May have to get that too. It actually was the one I said I was going to get originally but then I changed my mind and got the other two!

I did notice the same thing, although I still persuaded myself that I didn't need it... Now I'm wondering about that decision because I actually really liked the highlighter in that set (applied very smoothly and evenly... although highlights are not hard to find), I liked BB even if it looked like Club and I like Skintone 2 a lot... Must stop thinking about this quad...

Going back and forth on this quad as well. Every time someone says BB is less red and more green than Club I put it on my list. Showstopper looks like a very versatile shade as well. But are the colours really special enough to get it? Not sure. And Skintone really looks like a very wearable gold.
So, is it currently on your list of off?

Same here. I would like something more Green. I'll find out tomorrow when I swatch it.

So I went back to the counter today to check out the blushes and try on some other stuff.
Pet Me Please looked too pale and frosty when swatched on my hand, and I knew it wouldn't look good on me. Of Royalty made me look too girly, which isn't a look I normally go for. Plus it was a bit too cool toned for my hair - since I dyed my hair brown late last year, I've found that warmer makeup colors look a lot better on me. Powerful looked very frosty and even metallic on me, and it appeared to be a bronze-red color on my lips. How very weird, and it was extremely unflattering and made me look old. I tried on the brown superslick e/l just for fun, but it smudged on me when I got home, so I'm glad I didn't buy it.
The blushes were really pretty and had a lovely buttery-smooth texture. I couldn't justify buying Utterly Game since I already have too many peach blushes. Pet Me is a pretty pink that warms up against my skin. I liked The Soft Meow because I thought it looked the most unique, but it's probably not the best choice for a blush against my skin tone. It kinda reminds me of Spingshine blush ombre which I love, but Springshine is more wearable because it's not as dark. My MA applied Pet Me on the apples and used The Soft Meow as a contour color - the end result looked fab!
I went home with Pet Me blush, and was happy to hear my MA tell me that I took the last piece. Although I did feel quite guilty when another MA was recommending the blush to her customer, and my MA had to tell her that it's already sold out.

It looks brighter than Club. I would have got that quad it Showstopper wasn't in it. I already have it and its not my favorite brown. I really don't like it.

Never thought of that. I do have a sample a friend gave me of Antique Green.
