I've also used Blinc Eyeliner (although I think it's called Kiss Me in the US?) and that doesn't come off at all until you apply water and pressure.

Thank you! I do have Antique Green, so that may be the option that helps me get over the BB quad for good!

Thanks for the tip, worth a try

And if Showstopper is not a good colour, getting the quad is probably not a great idea.

it was weird though because as i said - the uk version ended where she never left the cave and this sequel was based on the american ending!

Seems like those liners are definitely not for me then, I tend to rub at my eyes :S

well it only seems to flake if you rub them when wet. when rubbed dry it stays in tact

Well I hope I like the movie

. So funny you bring up that ending again because my b/f told me he thought it ended like you told me. It was on ScyFy last Friday before I went to work and he was home so I said "now watch...the ending isnt the way you said". Sure enough it was like I remembered....she was in the truck, as a tractor trailer rolled by blaring the horn. They showed a close up of her leaning over the steering wheel then panned away and sitting beside her was Juno looking dead....then it showed her screaming in a close up and that was the end.
tong.gif
. I think what the b/f remembered was an alternate ending that was on the DVD..the one you saw

Edit....just found this on Wiki....

The Descent was released in North America with approximately a minute cut from the end. In the American cut, Sarah escapes from the cave and sees Juno, but the film does not cut back to the cave.
In the 4 August 2006 issue of Entertainment Weekly, it was stated that the ending was trimmed because American viewers did not like its "uber-hopeless finale". Lionsgate marketing chief Tim Palen said, "It's a visceral ride, and by the time you get to the ending you're drained. [Director Neil] Marshall had a number of endings in mind when he shot the film, so he was open [to making a switch]." Marshall compared the change to the ending of The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, saying, "Just because she gets away, does that make it a happy ending?"
The North American Unrated DVD includes the original ending. Recently, the film has been airing on Canada's The Movie Network, which has the original ending. In contrast the American Syfy Channel as recently as August 27, 2010 broadcast the recut version of Sarah escaping, with Juno's spectre appearing beside her in the SUV.

Ladies...I went back already.

I loving this so much, it's one of the best collections this year, if not the best! I got Kittenish, Of Royalty, Noctural and Marked For Glamour liners and Pet Me blush. Btw Finnish girls - the other MA today said the liners are NOT going to be permanent here! I don't know if it's true because they are known to say things that aren't always correct.

I did a look today with LL quad and it turned out great. The colours together are something that could turn muddy if not careful with blendind and placement, but when those are taken care of, it looks really good. Very sexy and sultry looks can be created with this.

I'm finding myself wanting to rave about the BB-quad even though I don't have it, just the repromotes with the dupes like I mentioned, but it is just so so so gorgeous colour combination! For one second I thought what the hell, I just get this quad too because it's so perfect, but then I got to my senses. But I'm not guaranteed to loose my mind again.

When I want to say it's the best pre-made Mac quad, the crazy me screams "then why don't you have it?!?!".

When am I going to stop with this collection? I still feel I could get Smoky Heir, Desires&Devices, Palace Pedigreed, Utterly Game (even though I have Peaches and Illamasqua Lover that both seem so close to it) and maybe a lipglass or two (I haven't gotten any lipglasses from this!). This collections kicks SCF a** anytime!

aha! that explains it all then! how weird that they thought the americans wouldn't like a 'hopeless ending' like that! but all us british people are happy to be depressed?!

Did a look with PP quad yesterday and I loved it. Used the pinky mauve in the crease, Russian Blue in the V, and the lightest shade in the brow and all over. Used smoke and diamonds to make it a little smokier and then Wolf pearlglide.

I paired it with Rue D'Bois from the EuristoCATS.

I am going to love this quad!!!

And I have not even used the Palace Pedigreed shade yet.

I may have to steal this one. I've done a couple of looks with this quad, one of which worked pretty well (just using the three lighter shades) and one which ended up looking muddy... I'm eager to try using it more because the colours are
th_drool.gif

And besides, as long as I keep myself happy with the two quads I got, I won't be tempted to go back for the BB quad (even though I don't have any of the shades in it that have been promoted before...)

This collection in particular, i think....but that interplay between your natural coloring and the new light formulas products have nowadays is what makes them look so great! I like bright, heavily pigmented lippies as much as anyone, but these more subtle looks are definitely the most modern

I did a beautiful eye look using Antique Green with the pale and dark colors from the Love To Love MES trio - pale on lid, dark brown in crease and under lower lashes, Antique Green swept straight across above the crease and also washed into the crease and above it, then the pale to highlight the brow. Greengrease GPS to line upper and lower waterline.

I feel fine about passing on this quad. I DO still think about the PP quad, though....but I will stay strong!

Interesting. One of the MA's told me that the liners will be permanent. Wonder which way it's going to be.

Same here. I have a huge internal battle going on. I just can't decide whether to buy this or not. It's super pretty and I want it. But then again, I could totally dupe this quad.

See, I told you it's frustrating. Wednesday they didn't know, today one said no and one has told you yes. Which is it?
th_confused_new.gif
I got a feeling they were trying to sell them more saying they were not going to be permanent or like the other MA said - you never know...I said to the MA today I understood they were going to be permanent everywhere else, so that's why assumed they were here too, but she was very surprised to hear that they are permanent somewhere.
