MAC Fabulous Felines Discussion

I got my FF stuff today!
There was an event at one of the counters and I went there to get my makeup done and purchase my things. Since the LL part was most appealing to me, naturally that's the stuff that I tried on. The MA did a great look on me using the LL quad, Marked for glamour liner and then Drive me Wild lipstick with Schemer over it. On my cheeks I think she used Lovejoy blush.
On the eyes she put the orange shadow on the lid and the lower lash line. Then she put the black/grey shadow (Furiously Fabulous?) on the outer v and just a touch on the inner corner and blended it out to create a sort of simple, subtle smokey effect. The dark shadow she also put on my lower lash line. Marked for Glamour to line top lashes, Plushlash mascara and that was it!
Drive Me Wild is gorgeous and I loved it on my lips. Schemer on top made it even more gold-y and luscious! I ended up with:

LL quad
Marked for Glamour liner
Lithe pigment
Drive Me Wild lipstick
Schemer lipglass

I'm so happy with what I got and that I managed to stay within my budget!

I didn't really get the chance to look closer at the other parts of the collection since other MAs were using them on other clients. The one thing I want to look at again is Pet Me blush (thanks, Elegent-one for planting that thought in my head
greengrin.gif
) so I'll probably go to the other counter once they recieve the collection. The BB quad I think I talked myself out of - but you never know...

I used Kittenish today and I love it! So glad I went back for it.

Also Treat Me Nice have been very nice indeed, it pays off sometimes to buy things on a whim.

Pet Me is very pigmented, I only touch it with my brush and there's alot of colour to blend.

Just got back from the mall and I went to Tyson's f/s MAC to check out BB. They told me it was sold out! Ughhh! Also they were out of the silver and blue liner and I think a couple of lippies since I didnt see them on the display. I asked to at least see the BB quad so I could swatch and the BB isnt like Club on me at all
greengrin.gif
. I did see however some...very slight reddish tone when I wiped it off m hand but didnt see it just swatched. I got Treat Me Nice eyeliner and Beauty Marked for my B2M rather then the Wildy Defined l/g. I guess I thought I didnt need it as badly as I first thought last week. I had swapped with someone on MUA for Beauty Marked and I had my doubts it was authentic. When I depotted it I really thought it was fake because the pan was indented. I took that one with me to the store to compare and sure enough they are totally different as I expected
ssad.gif
. Blah. Anyway I went to the Macy's MAC and got the BB quad where I also swatched Kittenish. I think I would like to get it but I don't have the money right now. Maybe in a couple weeks I can get it.

So I thought this way it is easier. Wasn't it easy to convince myself? And somehow Palace Pedigreed and LoL came with it.

LoL is not very dark when on, it reminds me of lipstain colour, like a sheer berry stain. I looked at Utterly Game once more, but I decided to leave it, Illamasqua Lover is basicly the same colour plus I have Peaches that is also very close.

I starting to scare myself with my obsession for this collection. I knew I was going to like it, but whoah, I'm really drooling over this one, my heart beating like a leopard every time I think of it. There was some major hauling, and it was worth it!

p.s. Why did I ever doubt Antique Green? It's so beautiful! I used it with Gold Stroke, Showstopper and Treat Me Nice and it turned out very pretty fall look.

I can't stop thinking about this one. To get the BB or not to get it, that's a good question.....

I'm done with this collection, just went back to the counter to buy the BB quad, so that completes my £250 haul.

The only thing I'm not too happy with is Pet Me Please lipstick, but I might be able to make it work, we'll see.

you have to be careful not to overblend on these quads - all the colors are so subtle and also so finely milled. It's so easy to blend them until they disappear. Instead of blending, try building the colors into each other, patting on with sheer layers, overlapping them until you have the color density you are looking for.

You'll get a really modern look that's subtle and not muddy.

I was killing myself with that same question, so I decided to bite the bullet and get it. Besides, this collection was way more me than VV for example (although knowing me I like a few things from that too..
graucho.gif
) so I let it loose a bit more.

Do you have Skintone 2 or Showstopper? How about Club or Dazzlelight? If you have those you're fine, unless you want to use them often together and get tired of using multiple palettes. That was the main reason for me, I want to use these together alot.

It's BB quad on the eyes, with the purple liner. Kittenish on the lips, and I actually forgot to ask what liner she used.

The more I look myself in the mirror the more I fall in love with the colors. While this might not be a look I would wear every day, I think I will go back tomorrow and get the rest of the products, to wear individually.
smiles.gif
And then I am going on a Mac (free) break.

You look all manner of gorgeous in that photo. I would definitely go back and grab the other products, so you can recreate whenever you want. This is not doing anything to quell my pangs for the BB quad...

That's like ordering chocolate souffle, with dark chocolate shavings on top, and pushing the plate to the side, untouched!
How can you DO this??

I didn't get a chance to play with Utterly Game blush while I was at my counter the other day.

What are everyones thoughts on this blush? Is it different enough from Fun & Games, Hipness, and Ripe Peach? If it is different how so, like lighter, brighter, darker, etc? Is it a yay or nay?
