LOL too bad I've already swatched it not once but twice! And I found myself staring at it on both occasions. Although MAs never seem to push for it, they always say Drive Me Wild will look better than Out Minxed. Maybe they have a reason for saying so, but I can't stop thinking about Out Minxed.

Of course, in a different store, on a different day, with different lighting and weather, with a different phase of the moon.... could easily be a different story.

Is there pink in Sunsational? I never noticed it. I didn't get Beachbound because of Sunsational so maybe this is my chance to "make up" for it. Is Out Minxed closer to Beachbound or Sunsational?

I wore Pet Me and Drive Me Wild for the first time yesterday (I hardly put on makeup any more, because I don't have time to). They are both super lovely, and I'm glad I bought them. When applied sheerly on the lips, Drive Me Wild gives a gorgeous MLBB color with a pop of bronzey-coral. And Pet Me gives a very nice, natural-looking flush when applied lightly (my MA kinda piled on the color when I tested it at the counter).

I wore my PP quad out clubbing tonight with Vino lipliner and Cunning lipstick. Looked awesome and got lots of compliments from friends.

So thrilled! Now all I have to do is wait for Aristo-cat to arrive, yay!

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong - so please tell me if I am, but for the life of me I can't use it properly. It looks blotchy on me. I exfoliated my lips, moisturised them, attempted to line them with Vino lipliner (it looked awful because I haven't learned how to do it yet, so the edges looked wonky) but when I applied Cunning, the first coat went on great. But the 2nd coat? It was patchy/blotchy. Lighter in some areas and darker in others. I'm not sure if I'm doing it wrong or if it's just how the lipstick is? Should I maybe try a powder on my lips first?

I tend to use lipbalm before any lipstick because I get really dry, sore lips if I don't have lipbalm on most of the time. But I've never had this kind of effect. Someone PLEASE help me, otherwise I feel like I'm just going to have to return it which I really don't want to do as I love the colour so much.

Cunning works better when you apply it lightly. If you HAVE to use 2 coats, let the first one set for a few minutes. Just slathering it on doesn't work with this one- too glossy a texture plus it's not a totally opaque style either. If you want it to be more opaque, just use a lip pencil all over your lips first or if that's not opaque enough, mix a little pigment in on top of the Cunning - Bloodline looks very sexy layered over it!

Yesterday was a Bloodline-Day, apparently!

I wore it too, for the first time, with Mauvement and Lithe. It's really pretty, and I like how the piggies of this collection compliment each other!

I have the gold one and it's very opaque. You don't have to layer it at all. One swipe is more than enough.

I've got them both. I find the opacity is a little variable, depending on how much you use in your layer. You can make them medium or fully opaque, or even sheer if you wipe the brush off first and don't press hard. You can also do a heavy layer that doesn't look gloppy, because of the applicator - but be careful about drying time if you try that.

The cool thing is that even when you go for a medium opacity, they are SO DAMN SHINEY that from some angles they will look totally opaque when the shine catches the light.

You can definitely apply them over dark shadow without the color or line disappearing, if that's a question.

I agree with Shontay, the gold one is very opaque with just one wipe. The silver is a little sheerer than the gold, but not bad.

I swatched the gold and dark blue liners last monday, and the last of them came off my hand this morning. (I didn't do anything special to remove them faster, but I didn't baby the area either, they just sat there the whole week.) So these are crazy long wearing.

Sometimes though, I get a blob right at the end where I want it to be the point like maybe I'm pushing to hard when I get there

^ no.. you are stopping the fluid motion/flicking of your hand.. that causes blobs or points vs. wings.

The Sept. issue of Allure features this collection & other cat-eye inspired makeup on page 59 (which may have been previously mentioned).

But OMG - Kim K. is on the cover - she has never looked so darn GORGEOUS! To me her makeup look on the cover is what I strive to achieve besides my smokey eye look. The absolute perfect feminine look.

These liners are the Editors' Pick in the Sept. InStyle mag. page 424. Plus, there are other MAC products in this issue.
