Oh my gosh, isn't that Light Sunshine/print so adorable when you open it! I love it. I swept it high on the cheekbones, under my eyes, on my eyelids & temples - very pretty . Mlle is pretty too. It reminds me of a paler, slight lavender tinged Pretty Please ls.

Its not as slight pink tinged as PIP - its lighter more of a subtle pearly highlighter look. Probably not unique, but it does give this gorgeous soft focus in the highlighting whereas I think PIP makes the skin look flawless & fresh all over with some slight coloring. I don't think I would use LS all over my face, but thats just me.How similar is Light Sunshine to Play it Proper? Not sure if I need both.

Well, MAC doesn't have a dupe for it in their permanent line, so I guess you could say that's what you might be missing out on.
And hey, there is a certain segment of the population attracted to those taupey-grey "poop" colors, namely pasty girls who live in caves and basements. Not to imply that I hide in my basement (well not all the time), but the only black makeup I can handle is mascara, and that's because I'm brunette. They're good crease colors for us -- warm browns look weird and blacks are too harsh.
Oh no, don't get me wrong, I didn't mean that it looked like poop in that it's brown, but rather it looked like poop because it didn't swatch well. It lacked the pigmentation I was craving. And trust, I'm pasty too so I understand, though I kind of enjoy doing black and having the stark contrast myself.
Oh and thank you everyone for the birthday wishes.
