i wouldn't be shocked if mac put the price up slightly because of the flower print. however it is a perm shadow so you could even buy it now if you wanted to for normal price!

So, I went to my MAC counter after I got out of class and discovered that they had Lucky Green and Aqua on display!
I swatched them and was immediately in lurve with Lucky Green.
I thought Aqua was pretty too. ^_^
I'm not so sure anymore if I'm going to hold off on buying them until this collection launches or before.

I really want to know more info about this collection, though.
Come on, MAC!

PLEASE be careful with the Peacocky shadows, then, if you have any. I got some of that powder in my eye while applying and it was like someone touched a hot fireplace poker to my eyeball, it was EXCRUCIATING! I have never felt that kind of pain before. My eye immediately started running like I was crying terribly nonstop. It was a frightening experience, to say the least.

yeah, its really just me being hopeful.
I like the idea of using pigments to try each one in my stash. But I am scared of the stacked pigments now, because my eyeballs get red and irritated easily and I don't want that to happen--so if anyone else gets eyeball redness from the stacked pigments, I guess they will be a skip from the Surf Baby collection--more cash saved for me.

Katred, you can wear more than one lipstick at a time--I combo them quite frequently. Or, just throw two or three in your purse and you can a try a different one every four hours or so, that's about how long they last on me at least, less if I have lots of coffee or snacks...

OK I was just scanning back through the pages because I missed the part about the flower imprint. It's cute but I think I have most of these. I don't have Bows & Curtseys but after seeing T's swatch I'm not impressed. I think it was Katred that said the color is similar to NARS Night Porter and it does kind of look like it in the pan but from her swatch there is no color pay off.there is no pay off. th

You should spend a bit more and get Night Porter it is amazing. I have had it for a while and really had forgoten about it. I recently came across it and I wore it tonight to a dinner and it is such a gorgeous color with great pay off.

Lou--Ya hear me? If you don't have it you need to get it my fellow lover of greens:)

It looked like Night Porter in the pan, but much more matte in the swatch. And, yes, every green lover should have Night Porter. It is astounding. I really dark, but it doesn't look black, which a lot of dark colours do. It's incredibly rich and easy to work with and... well, I'm getting way off-topic here. But it makes a lovely smoky green eye and it actually looks really nice with Lucky Green.

I swatched Bows and Curtsies at the CCO and I would say it looks like the Dark Blue Pigment, but with a little less shimmer. Dark Blue Pigment is better.

I'm wearing Lucky Green and Bows & Curtseys today, and I think B&C is quite pigmented. Must be one of those better on lid than swatched colours.

[/quote] Definitely. I was too tired to say exactly this the other day. B&C's is definitely one of those shadows that's better in action than in a swatch. I like it very much.

I'm itching to know what the rest of this collection entails. Remember last spring when there were a bunch of pro colors released and that's when Lucky Green came out in the first place? This collection kind of reminds me of that. I really love the flower imprint, though. I have most of these shadows already, though.

ah well that is good to know then. do you use a primer with it?

Yes, UDPP. A primer is a must for me. I just did a test. I put some UDPP on my hand and packed on it some B&C and Oomph side by side. B&C seems to have more color payoff than Oomph, and it's a bit darker / deeper. And oh, it's a Satin! It's ok for a Satin, I would have guessed a Frost.
