I'm sorry people are having so much problem with the shadows. I've been wearing mine all weekend without any problems at all. No creasing, no uneveness, no migrating sparkles, color staying good for 6+ hours, no funny cold or drying sensations, no problems taking them off at night.
I WAS super picky and spent over an hour picking out the best ones for me at the store, though. I loved the light blue, but the level of sheerness it needed just looked weird on me so I passed. I also loved the bright green, but it was one of the grittiest ones, on top of not being so flattering on me either. Both of these plus some others just did not build nicely and it was either super sheer time or get out of town with 'em.
I wound up going with Cool Elite, Black Diamond and Luxury Touch (the mauve). All of these have a nice smooth texture and leave a good sheen and didn't act funky when trying to apply them, like some of the other colors, like the dark green, did. Actually, the one I thought had the best texture + color + ease of application was the olive green, but again, not a good color for my skin tone.
I've played around with all of them and the best application method for me is scooping out a teeny blob the size of a lentil max with a spatula and then using my fingertip to apply about 3-4 very small dots on the lids (not thick dots - really flat ones). After I dot it on, I PAT (not rub or smear) them in. The formula spreads anyhow, so patting plus the heat of my fingertip is enough to blend it to cover the whole lid and then up into the crease and further up into the brow. If I'd try to rub it to blend it more into the brow, that didn't look good. 'Just had to pat, like lightly tapping and even that would sheer it out enough. If I needed more, I'd just pat another dot or two where it needed it. Applying with any kind of brush pretty much sucked.
Also, I didn't like the way it behaved over base at all. Freshly moisturized eyes, where I didn't let the moisturizer totally dry down before applying the shadow, was the best.
Honestly, on my lids, I actually feel these smooth out the color and the texture of my lids better than the light colors in the MegaMetal shadows - Dalliance is gorgeous but it always makes my lids look a little crepey - no issue at all with that with these Big Bounces. Black Diamond gives me a look that's very similar to the dark grey-brown-black Veluxe Pearl in the Leopard Luxe Quad, except with golden sparkles - that sort of sheer black stockings look that I love. Same result with Luxury Touch, but with sheer mauve stockings

The Cool Elite is the finickiest one, and really is best applied extra sheerly and not built up.
I'm trying to restrain myself, but I'm probably going to buy a couple more colors and just split them with friends if needs be, but I think I'm going to hoard Luxury Touch all to myself as a go to, daytime casual look.
My best advice is still only pick a color that is an enhancement to your eye color and skin tone, because these have to be left sheer. If you try to get strong colorfulness out of them, you are going to be annoyed. Just see if they'll give you a sample plus one of the little disposable spatulas and try out my technique at home. Just don't bother with them at all if you don't like sheer tints though - you won't get what you like out of them.
