no, seriously its really 50% awesome and 50% bad. meh is just right.
i got the full sized of two of the brushes and they are faaaar behind. for the price i can expect that to be the case but they are all right for on the go! which is what i got em for!

Damn! Is the mineralize the one with the duo fiber? I got the all white which I think is called the "Special" set. It has the 217, 213 ans 168 which I love in the full size.

I wanted to get her a good starter set but not spend a ton. These are a great deal when they are the good batches. These vary so much with different collections.

I read some reviews like on Sephora on some sets from other brands that are in the same price range and they seemed kinda meh also---my daughter uses that "word" all the time

Any suggestions on a good set around that price?

I know to get really good brushes you should buy the full size or some of those nice sets that run around $200 plus. I just want to get a pretty good starter set but not one that the brushes will shed or feel scratchy.

I've ordered from them several times and never had an issue. Just make sure you read the descriptions. Some of their items are new but come without the box, etc. I agree mac_aiken! I ONLY order from them when I am CERTAIN about what I want! I've seen the color and tested it or seen swatches and KNOW I want the item! I do not buy from ebay or any wholesaler on the internet expecting good response on a product you decide "doesn't work for you." I view these type of websites as "final sale" type transactions. I have never had to return anything to ACW for damage, so I cannot comment on that. But all my transactions have been correct, authentic, and quick shipping.

I think the "Special" (white) set is the best one of these sets. The bristles are reasonably soft and usually don't shed (break!) too much. While they do not have the same quality as the fullsize brushes, I think it is a great starter set, especially as it features some essential brushes.

I agree and that's why I chose that set. I seriously could not live without the 217. I have 2 full size of the 217 and 239. Well I have 2 of others as also but I super love these 2 brushes.

I don't think you'll be backordered. I'm doubtful anyone would look under that name. Now I'm wondering if I should back it up too! Its the perfect shimmer for any lippie and its not a gloss!

But since this was 2 am and I was under the influence of Lunesta I bought four instead of two plus some naturally ones! Lol I rarely go through lipstick so this one will prob become my signature color now.

The name it was under was weird.... I checked under the G&I section and it wasn't there but listed under the DECO it was.
I don't care what the title says, as long as I get my precious W&T...

My friend's dad is on it and the sleep walking stories are kind of terrifying. He's old enough that if he accidentally falls while on it, he could break some bones or otherwise be in big trouble.

Yeah....I had to stop taking it because (apparently) it made me extremely *ahem* "amorous".....not that my husband was complaining, but it's never good when you can't remember what you've been up to the night before, especially if there is someone else who DOES remember.

Also, if I didn't go to bed before it kicked in then the "Kimchee Snake" (me, this became my nickname) would raid the fridge for every kind of pickled vegetable.....LOL.
It is funny to tell the stories now, but that drug is seriously out of hand.
