MAC always puts out a holiday color collection first--- Magic, Mirth and Mischief. Also 3 parts of sets:

- Enchanting Vermillion Fashion Eye Kit ( dunno something like this will release or not. Maybe they just release one as the one below)
- Charming Garnet: Glamour Basics Kit ( MAC will release something like this I think)
- Also Viva Glam lip palettes.
- As always, Kids Helping Kids gift cards. They'll release this year too.

This is not the last collection of the year I think, for some reasons; last year they released un-holiday collections during the release of these:

- DAZZLELASH ( this year it'll be zoom fast black lash )
- LASH & DASH ( forgot its name but it releases this year too )
- TREND BAGS ( as always...)

Also last year we've got a Metal Urge collection . I hope they release metallic pigments INSTEAD OF the metal-x eyeshadows.

Also the monogram anniversary, as told by a specktrette before, will named Baroque Boudoir and probably release at the end of November. It will include what it included before: 3 lipsticks, 2 lipglasses, 2 sheer mystery powders, and a clutch. Wait a minute.... Where's the perfume?? And why only 2 shades??? And sheerspark powders?? Brushes??

I don't care for anniv. of Monogram; pricey for me - but don't forget it's only preliminary info.

- Warm and Cozy
- Chill Out

Both are WNs, but it's not hard to say that it's the anniversary of Chill ... And a warmer version of it as a desert. The release date for these is 12/26.

judging by how poorly last year's monogram collection sold and the state of the economy, I'm surprised that they're doing a couture/monogram anniversary collection at all. I know the Mystery powder is somewhat popular, but the whole of the Monogram collection showed up at my CCO. To me it seems like, for the most part, ave. quality Mac in gussied up packaging. Might as well buy actual high end products like Chanel or Dior for that price.

Yep, same here - I like luxury makeup, but I can't collect them, buying whole collections etc like you do with MAC. I like them as ''treats'' for me - Guerlain, Chanel... When buying MAC I don't feel like I'm buying pure luxury, but I feel like I'm buying things I need and love. So monogram doesn't makes sense to me.

indeed. and even then the only reason why i want mystery powder is to put in my compact! because really it's just a bog standard face powder. nothing very special at all. i've never bought from these types of collections before purely because it's normal product in fancy wrapping! and last years packaing sucked imo.

I cannot wait for more info about the Winter collecetions!! Warm and Cozy and Chill Out sounds interesting. Does anyone have a feeling that Warm Chill and Chill eyeshadows might be repromoted?

You and me both. Marque actually looks like VG5 on me. So a neutral nude pink.

Thanks for the info. I didn't buy from Chill last year and regretted it but I like the sound of this warmer version.

I'm guessing there will be MSF's in the after-the-holidays collections? Remeber when they released Lightscapade with Danse? And is old mine! Why? I always look forward to the December 26th collection. Especially since its Boxing Day for us in Canada and we can spend our Christmas money/gift cards!

Soo,I got to see part of this today!First,the packaging is okay I don't care for the colored circles,but the the casing is metal,and it's kinda heavy,which was cool.The opening is kinda cool,it has a magnet.The warm palette is meh,okay.The only color that stood out to me in it was the greenish color.The other 2 palettes were wicked pretty.The purple palette,can't remember the name,is niiiice.Love it.That's the only one I'm getting.

The lip palettes are meh,lip palettes,nothing new.
The brush sets are cute,those are gonna fly out the door I think.
And guess what?I found out the names of the pigments!!!I can't remember them all,but here's some of them
One set has Dazzleray I think it was,Chocolate Brown

Naked,Antique Gold Glitter and Dark Soul.The 2nd one has Fuchsia,Grape,Deep blue green,Kitschmas and trans teal glitter.Dissapointed with that set.And the third one has Mueseum Bronze,Jardin Aires,and I don't remember the other 3,Im sorry

The lipglass sets,one set has Elle

yessss!Morning Glory,which I know will make Elegant extremely happy!,Poetic Liscense and I think Fleur Delight?and I forgot the 5th.Another set has Beaute,which is one of the my favorite lipglasses ever.Also Wonderstruck,Silly Girl and Totally It and I forgot the last one.As for the thirdlg set,all I remember is Magnetique.
Also the info on the lip bags there's a lipstick,lip liner and dazzleglass.The lipstick for one of them is called Fantasia,and the dg is Baby Sparks,the lippie for the other I think is called Dream,and the dg is Get Rich Quick.
Other than that,that's all I can remember,I'm soooo freaking excited!

The one that has Jardin Aires,even though I can't remember the names,I know there were other pigments in it that were done recently.No real good ones.

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. MAC doesn't like to visit the way back machine and tends to only repromote recent LE items usually. Well, again more money for the end of year collection, which is all good.

And merci beaucoup for the information. Makes budgeting so much easier when I know what's coming up.

Yeah, total lack of imagination with the pigment sets - what a bummer. Oh well, I'll save up for the post-holiday collection - I always love that one!

I may end up with one of the brush sets, 2 of the shadow palettes and probably 2 of the lipglass sets.

Isn't it amazing how we wish our lives away in anticipation of the next great collection?

Bummer about the pigments. I have samples of all that, I really don't reach for pigments all that much, so I really wanted it to be special. The past two times, I got a pigment set, so I was hoping I would get 1 this year, maybe the Fuschia, Grape one . That one actually sounds pretty.
