MAC - Holiday 09: Magic, Mirth and Mischief (Holiday Sets Part I) Discussion

Being a Old MAC Hag (seen a lot, have a lot), this is how I see this collection in my head sight unseen based only by swatches:
MES;
Blue Sorcery- Talent Pool (sf) or Parrot
Devil May Care- Beautiful Iris (Erine swatched) or Crystal
It's a Miracle- Earthly Riches MES purple
Mayhem- Go (sf), Museum Bronze p/g,
Under Spell- Style Snob (Erine Swatches)
Midnight mad- Magnetic Fields including the sparkles
Lipsticks-
Surprise Me- Ravishing l/s with Entrantress
Utter Fun- Heatherette hot pinks
Warm Pallette- Mulch, Burnt Burgundy p/g, Paradisco (with payoff), Creme Royale (honey collection)
Smokey Mirrors- Satin Taupe , Soft Brown, Expresso, All that Glitters or Sable and Dark Edge
Sorceress- Unbasic White or White Frost, Nocturnelle, Knight Divine, Style Snob or Sable and Beautiful iris (again)
The Cool Palette to me seems the most unique and undupable except maybe the turquoise, the blue and green/grey ones seems duochromey
And of course, I think the MB's are a must, being a newfound Blush Whore.

I don't usually buy anything for myself from the holiday collections but I did do a small preorder at Nordies today. I got:
Sorceress palette
Hocus Focus face palette
It's a Miracle MES
She Zam d/g
My Nordies is having an event this weekend so I am using the $50 merch credit from that to help pay for my goodies.
After preorders they only have 6 Sorceress palettes left. They think they will sell out in pre order on that one.
As a little treat to myself I picked up FY..Eye and Creme Allure on the advice of the board.

That Sorceress palette is so so pretty!! I'm wavering on the smokey one, now...maybe I'll wait for it to hit a CCO.

its not. shale is more of a grey purple, not a grey mauve.

nope. if you take a teal and add green, you get waternymph. if you take that same teal and add blue, you get BS.

the brushes are really quite good. better than last year's IMO. but each one is different. it depends on what batch you get.

oo i love the eye palettes so!
i'm getting Sorceress, ordered on ebay, for some reason in ireland they price the pallette way over what everyone else does they end up at €50!! So I'm not going to wait to pay that amount
instead I'll pay half and get it earlier
I'm very tempted by Smoke and Mirrors too.
Will need to have a look a the glosses, but I think a Boy Bait is a must!!
