must resist! i'm still getting two gloss kits - frisky and sexy and the purpley eye pallete... and oddly the hocus pocus face palette is now off my list!

Im confused I was only going to get one possibly both of the mineralize face kits. Now Im wanting the smoke and mirrors eyeshadow pallete since i love smokey eyes then my mom who doesnt wear make up has been getting into my collection of MAC and she said I really wish I had a blue shadow so I was thinking sorceress has a pretty one in it and would be a good starter kit for her. I dont know if I should wait it out and see if the palettes hit outlet or if I should give in and get now. I also plan on picking up boybait and ever so rich cremesheens too next week. I wish oh do I wish their would be a friendss and family sale soon.

I really wanted the Devil May Care palette but since 3 of the colors are similar to something I just bought, may just get the purple Sourceress instead. Can't turn down purple!

I personally don't think Shimmertime has a crappy texture. To me, it has similer texture to Pink Opal and Goldenaire pigments. I actually really like it, especially for days when I am lazy. I like using it with pigments like Sunnydaze, Mauvement, and Smoke & Diamonds e/s. It makes a very pretty neutral eye. If I were you, I'd definitely try it out at the store before buying the kit to make sure you like it though. HTH

I think I only like the Devil May Dare palette. And Sexy Shenanigans.
But I know I have way too much MAC... so I'm skipping them. Hopefully I can find Elle by itself, I heard that color was amazing!

I am going to skip these sets. I might get a few as gifts for people but I find that I always neglect these palettes for my other eye shadows. Everything does look beautiful though!

Ahhh that sucks!!! sorry, you would think if you worked for MAC you would get discount off any MAC product...Oh well such is life I guess

I was at my MAC store last night picking up some lashes and lippies and the mua pulled me aside and said she was just unpacking the testers for this Holiday collection. They were so pretty and brand new and she handed me a pile of Qtips and said 'start swatching' LOL. OMG the e/s kits were so beautiful. I'll be picking up Devil May Dare for sure! The pink and green (the two middle colors) were absolutely gorgeous. I liked the Smoke and Mirrors kit too...I may be asking for that one for Christmas

It felt so naughty to be the first one in the testers hahahahaha

It hits our Canadian stores on Thursday, so I'll be there.

i saw some of the holiday stuff lying around so my grubby little fingers went straight for it. and honest to god, the sorc palette is to die for! im totally glad i passed on dior night butterfly. and i love the face kits. very compact, the size of your palm. perfect for ur makeup bag!

Is smoke and mirrors a must have? I have the smokey eye quad from the Smoke Signals collection and at least one other smokey palette from a previous Mac Xmas collection. From what I can tell, these colors don't seem very unique.

Okay, I am torn. I know I can only get a few things so I'm trying to decide if I should get a pallet (probably the purple or smokey eyes one) or one of the mineralized kits. I guess I'll see how much money I have when the time comes LOL.

Are there two kits with a full sized pigment? Or just the one with Shimmertime? Just wondering since some YouTube videos showed displays and I saw two full sized pigments but I hadn't heard anything on here except for Shimmertime, so I'm wondering if it was just the same thing displayed twice.

ETA: Nevermind LOL. Figured it out.
