The MA told me that even though they look similar, NV is actually more rose raspberry than BT Plum raspberry.

Thanks for the pics geeko. I'm happy to say I don't own any of the others so New Vibe is still good with me, plus it looks less shimmery than the others which I also prefer. Monica, I am pretty sure Band of Roses is cooler/more blue-toned and deeper than Dollymix. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong!

This sounds just like something I would do!

When my Style Black package arrived, I ran to the door...foot got caught on the rug in front of the door and I slid/slammed right into it. hmmm elegant one to be honest, i feel that Unless you are blush addict like me who likes to collect blushers (and buy all blushers regardless of the similarity in them), if you have bi-tone, you do not need New Vibe... Cause they look really really similar...

Well crap.

New Vibe is gorgeous! That gold glitter side scares me though, in a bad way. Is it really out of control when applied on the cheek? I can't handle a disco party in my pores...

It looks like there might be some icky fallout too, but that rose/raspberry side is stealing my heart!

but, I don't have BiTone - yay!

NV isn't as glittery though is it? Smoother? And, as with a lot of blushes, personal skin tone will affect how the color looks on.

Maybe MAC forgot they made BiTone

So here I am, after looking at swatches, getting ready to go to the MAC store for band of roses.

Will power? What's that?

I do have Bi tone and i did purchase New Vibe. Even though they are simmilar, it is still hard to get the right consitency with Bi Tone, this is because of the way both colours are mixed together (pink and gold). It is hard to pick up more pink than gold. With New Vibe, i can atleast grab from the pink side without worrying about the copper/golden side.

And i think Band of rose is quite a unique shade...even though i have like erm Many many blushers......i dun think i can replicate the exact same shade as band of rose...so i think it's worth buying Band of rose. U get 2 blush shades for the price of 1

here are swatches as requested...I added in a few swatches of my own in addition to dollymix. Cheers

I will mostly use the raspberry side

I remember that I really really loved it on my arm, & I am a sucker for raspberry shades

Yeah Band Of Roses is pretty unique. I love the hint of raspberry in it as opposed to straight on hot pink. I think I will be getting this one!
I liked Dollymix but it was too corally pink on me and I rather just have one solid color, coral OR pink. So I sold off my Dollymix.
