Thank you! Red lips are perfect for date night with the hubby. I like the texture and pigmentation of DD. It works for me.

Three Ring Yellow is an odd color.

It's not a true yellow, but it's not poison green, or lime green, or chartreuse. It isn't really a green.

It's a greenish yellow. It's unusual - on me the green comes out when i put it on, but it isn't really green. It's a greenish yellow.

I always wanted to take a Balinese or Javanese dance class. 'Wish there was a resource like this down here in L.A.

Well, UCLA has both Balinese and Javanese gamelans, but i don't know if anyone is teaching dance at UCLA. Contact the CIA (joke, joke), that's the initials of the California Institute for the Arts, better known as CalArts, in Valencia. Their Balinese and Javanese gamelans are active and so are their dancers. Back in the 1970s i played with their gamelan at night and i wasn't a student there.

I'm all for MAC polishes when they're super unique - Immortal Gold from Posh Paradise is one of my favorite golds and I get compliments on it all the time. If Magnificent Feast had been a little more like it, I would have been all over it - I just found the color a little washed out comparatively.

And i've got my eye on Deborah Lippmann Fake It Til You Make It, metallic champagne gold with tiny red, green and gold glitters. So it's gold and more than gold, but no chunky glitter.

I have to say that Temptalia's swatches of Palace Pedigreed ("dark plum") are making me yearn for it. But i just got:
-- Brazenly - Deep metallic purple
-- Crimson Tryst - Deep metallic mid-tone berry
-- Loves Lure - Metallic deep red
from the Nudes & Metallics collection, so i think i can be strong and keep my wallet closed.

As for comparing PP to Damson, well, no comparison. PP is a warm, i.e., reddish, plum with a satin finish. Damson has a deep blue violet base with amazing bronze sheen. Plus Damson is so nice and creamy, compared to PP.

So you made me curious about this polish because I'm a nail polish addict, and Fake It Til You Make It is beautiful, but omg, Glitter And Be Gay is everything! I need it in my life!

Hmmm...Yeah Your right. Restless does look more orangey toned and Liqueur is WAY more bronze/brown. Now I'm wondering if I should get Liqueur since it's obviously different?

It was rather amusing yesterday. I was checking my mail in a cafe. Since it was my birthday, many of my FB friends were wishing me "Happy Birthday". Meanwhile, "When I'm 64" by the Beatles was playing - and i have just turned 64... I thought it was a funny coincidence.

Glitter and Be Gay is meant a top coat, although glitter fanatics may enjoy wearing it alone. It has a slightly tinted sheer base with multiple sizes of holographic gold glitter that flashes purple and green and blue and orange as it moves through the light.

I have way too many frost and glitter polishes (see my sig), and my goal is to buy some more cremes, but, oooo, shiney!

If you have Sketch, you don't need PP. and Sketch is sooo much better than PP any day!

Good call erine! Sketch is a Very similar color and is easy to work with. It's one of my fave colors for fall.
