^Light Affair is on Nordstrom's website if you can snatch it up. Also, does anyone know a dupe for Light Affair nail polish from any brand?

I wish they'd get all the new collections up on the UK site already. I went into MAC on wednesday and noticed the post holiday collections were in store already! i was quite happy but being 16 with a very limited amount of money each month i only got one eyeshadow which was hypnotizing, mainly because when i swatched it i thought it would go well with satin taupe which i bought a few weeks ago, and it does
! but the problem is i want the other 3
cus i swatched them and they were just sooooo pretty! i didn't really look at warm and cozy much, maybe cus i wasn't in a naturals mood, if only i had unlimited amounts of £££££

It's got very subtle blue tones. They're barely noticeable when you apply, and if it's smudged at all it just looks black. I'd skip it unless you feel like Feline is too black and you want something slightly greyer.

Thank you so much, Bunny! That truly helps. I will officially skip it then. Feline isn't too black for me, it's indeed a great black. I rather add an e/s like SI to my lower liner then. Thanks a bunch!

hopefully it will pop up this week. i'm not even near a store so i haven't had any chance to buy from the collection yet!

It is good to know that there is a dupe out there and I thought I would be able to skip Light Affair and buy the Essie instead.
But because Essie's is more sheer I caved and bought Light Affair a few minutes ago when I saw that Love Lace is now finally available at the second online store.

I already own Pincurl, from when it was released with, I think, Brunette Blonde Redhead.
While I like Pincurl, a light-to-medium slightly shimmery neutral gray, I don't find myself reaching for it all that much.

Question regarding Power Kohl in Raven:
Anybody own Raven? It looks like it comes out like a very red brown - which is exactly what I'm looking for. I don't want burgundy/maroon.
Is it true that it comes out looking like a very red brown?

hhhmmm from what i have seen of it is is browny with a hint of red.... but more brown than anything. i did want the liner but have since changed my mind because i much prefer bordeauxline liner which is a plummy maroon colour!

I just went and saw the Love Lace collection today. So much holiday crap kept me away. All I walked away with was Sauve Intentions eyeshadow. Such a pretty lagoon blue. But now i'm craving light affair nail polish so i'll probably order it online if they still have it. Nothing else really caught my attention. I found the lipsticks to sheer and same as the lipglasses. I loved the Warm and Cozy collection much better even though i'm more cool toned.

From this collection I bought today (well actually yesterday) Love Lace e/s and Hypnotizing e/s and the Kohl Power Eye Pencil in Raven.
Love Lace is really pretty and my 1st blue e/s for ages. Even tough I like this a lot, I think this will remain as my only blue e/s.
Hypnotizing is a lot lighter shade than I expected, but such a beautiful color.
I can't say if Raven is more maroon, dark plum or brown. Depends on the lighting. I think this is a little odd color in this collection when all the eye shadows are so cool. I can certainly see myself using this a lot.

Love Lace was released today here with the Warm&Cozy collection. I got Icescape, Raven, the false lashes, Hypnotizing, Love Lace and Suave Intensions.
The eyeshadows are beautiful and pigmented (I cannot stand chalky or poorly pigmented eyeshadows!). Love Lace is a medium greyish blue, more grey than for example Strike A Pose from Love That Look (atleast on me, I'm NC15), but still blue. Suave Intentions is an icy light blue. Hypnotizing is shimmery greyish mauve with subtle brown tones to it. It reminded me of Satin Taupe, Shale and Style Snob all together
. Pincurl I didn't care to even swatch, I know I wouldn't use that one.
Icescape didn't look so hot in the tube or when I swatched it, but on my lips it was gorgeous! Glad I picked it!
The biggest dissappointment was Sense of Style eye pencil. I thought that it is a must have regarding to the first swatch of it we got here, but sadly it's very boring and dull in person. You cannot see any, not even slightest hint of glitter/shimmer.
It's just like blackened dark blue, nothing special. So I only got Raven (Feline I already had from DSquared), which swatched on me a deep dark red/wine colour. I don't know if there's suppose to be any shimmer to it, but certainly you cannot see it either on this one if there is any.
The lashes were huge and wispy, flared out on the outer corners. Something dramatic for parties etc. I was just thinking that I should buy a subtle pair of falsies for once, but here I go again..

I have fair skin with pink undertones. On me Raven looks like deep magenta. I wore it with Bare Study the other day and got so many compliments. By doing this, it gave Raven more of a shimmer. IMO, if you have more olive in your skin, it would look like a deep red. HTH!

I'm posting twice due to the slowness of the site. (Faster to post than edit) Anyway, went to the MAC store for a Christmas treat from DH.
Came away with Hypnotizing e/s, Raven e/l and Pretty Please l/g (which looks fab under "Movin' Out" {Ballooncy}) I am thinking that Phloof!, Hypnotizing and Star Violet will be a stellar combination!
